The article said Mike Vollmar is the AD at Michigan and at first I was like whaaa? because I've never even heard of him, but then I used the google machine and lo and behold he is the Associate AD.  His MGoBlue bio also informs me that he went to the same HS as Lloyd, and has a habit of being associated with winners.  Bo in the 80s, Syracuse when McNabb was there, Bama for Saban's first NC... Also some time at State that was not as successful but they were playing against us soo... Anyway why do we not hear from him more?

he gets IT. Yes he is paid a large salary to win football games. Yet he understands this is a very small part of what is important in life. Unfortunately not every person affiliated with sports gets it. He is showing us he is a great coach, but he is an even greater person.

Agreed on the pipeline, if this becomes an annual occurrence alot of the kids who attend these clinics may see UM in a whole new light when they get older.

It doesn't hurt that Ross is opening a satellite campus in SoCal for their Executive MBA program. There are going to be TV, Billboard and Radio ads highlighting Michigan everywhere. Going out to Michigan to play may not seem so far away.
