TCU Fans Sticking It To OSU Fans

Submitted by Geaux_Blue on
Taking a page out of the MSU playbill, billboards congratulating TCU on its Rose Bowl win (signed Little Sisters of the Poor) have popped up around Columbus.

This is why school presidents need to be seen, not heard, in the sports arena.

but in combination with the MSU billboard, it's priceless. Any word on if the MSU - Wisconsin billboards are still up on I-94? Boy did that turn around to bit the Spartans in the ass. Big Ten Champs? See: Capital One Bowl.

It's nice to see some fun back in football.  With the refs throwing flags for any kind of celebration in the end zone (see: K State), it feels like college football has been sterilized.

I would never do something like this in Columbus, though.  I'm surprised it isn't already burning.

Those TCU fans might regret doing that if Patterson bolts for Michigan -- a team that actually plays OSU every year. I'll guess Mullen is today's business and the call to Patterson is on the schedule for the weekend, unless Strong is ahead of him on the short list.

Not sure if Brandon will go for Mullen. He'd be a great choice to continue the spread offense. But Brandon has stated he wants a defensive-minded coach, and Mullen's up-and-coming DC just got hired to replace Will Muschamp at Texas.  I think Patterson would be such a great option for us... runs a version of the spread, VERY defensive-minded, and ohhhh the Texas recruiting pipeline....

Just trying to prepare, but does anyone know how to convert money to tattoo’s on PayPal...I feel like some 2010 sugar memorabilia might be available in the near future...

I say this even though my wife is a professor at a very highly ranked university.  They are too idealistic to be involved with real life situations and decision making.  Gee is a good example of this and unfortunately the Michigan coaching search has the stink of academic influence all over it.  I still hold out hope for some business sense from DB but it sure looks like doing the honorable thing of waiting until after the bowl to fire RR was based on academic idealism.

Gordon Gee,  the OSU president who made the "Little Sisters" remark, is the same guy who crowed about their tie with Michigan during the Cooper era as one of the "great wins" in OSU history.
