Anyone know why he has T. Forcier on the back of his jersey? Is it because Jason used to play for UM? I have been trying to figure out the reasoning.
here's one vote for "John Beilein's head in a Futurama jar"
Even though he didn't end up joining the team they kept it on.
But I thought like it was for consistency since Denard's name was written D. Robinson... (probably because of T-Rob)
I thought it was because of the whole other Forcier thing, but I also wondered because a bunch of players had the first initial.
I asked myself this during the game, and came to the same conclusion as SeanMSC.
The bigger question I have is why Kelvin Grady's nameplate just says "Grady," since his brother is still on the team and all.
because they are both K. Grady, so what do you do then? Kel & Kev Grady?
Wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
Yeah, I remember Matt Elliott having his full name on the back.
Thanks. He should drop the T...
so that it's the Forcier!
Meh, in all seriousness, the T just looks too "youth football" to me. It's also going to bug the hell out of me all season if he keeps it.
Look at the bright side -- at least he's not like that offensive lineman from around 1990 or so that had his entire name (first and last) on his jersey. What was it, "Matt Hughes"?
That would probably have been Matt Elliot who had a brother Marc Elliot on the team, and they were both on the OL
The "T" stands for The.
and add a "he" to make it The Forcier
Go with what works!
I say if he keeps playing like he did against WMU, who cares what his jersey says.
They should just change it to "Savior."
Isn't his real name Robert?
The "T" is for Touchdown. Hope to hear that often this year!
Anyone know where I can get his nameplate for my jersey?
