Tate on Barwis Plan?
I was just wondering, it's been quite a while since the end of the season, and we've seen several other Michigan players in photos or video since then, ala Denard Robinson running track.
We all know Tate is always going to be the skinny kid. It's just who he is. But Barwis can put guns on the kicker no problem with a little time. Has anyone seen or heard anything about Tate putting on weight/muscle?

I was eagerly awaiting word on this as well, but am trying to temper my excitement, assuming he was not able to hit the weights very hard as he rested/rehabbed his shoulder.
That said, would be nice to see him noticeably bigger going into next year...say, 190-195ish, wishful thinking?

I think recovery from the various injuries may slow down Tate's full participation in the off-season program.

I agree with MGaux.... Tate has probably not been able to do much lifting. Hopefully he can get back into the routine by summer.

The entire 2009 season, they listed Tate at 6-1, 187 lbs. I know thats a little generous, so does anyone know what he actually weighed?

I recall an interview with RR, I want to say late summer, where he mentioned an excited Tate coming in and telling him he had finally hit 190 lbs. Also remember Tate mentioning that # as his peak and noted he lost "a few" pounds once practice was in full swing in August. So who knows, 180 to 187 sounds about right.

Came in at 172, was at 187 for the season, and the plan was to get him "around 208." I don't know if that's by next season or not, and I don't know how the shoulder has affected that plan.

I saw him at CVS 2 weeks ago and he definitely looked bigger but part of it was probably due to his winter coat. Also, he looked like a legitimate 6'11

Man, I clicked on this link hoping to see a picture of Tate looking like Ronnie Coleman. Severely disappointed, but hoping to see one soon.

Considering that prettymuch every chest, shoulder, back, and tricep exercise utilizes the shoulder in some way, I'm thinking tate is not jacked at this point. He could, however, look like this:

i actually just sprained my AC joint, I don't know if it was to Tate's severity, but I was able to work out. I lost a lot of strength but was still able to do some. With him being a michigan football player and me being 1 at Wright State might make a difference in care too.

Yeah it's posted in my gym on the wall next to the squat rack so read it everytime im doing legs and feel like pussing out. Our gym owner is big into powerlifting so he put it up.

Tate is definitely 6'1" and he's gotten bigger. He doesn't look like Denard does, but it is noticeable.
He also has a sweet BMW with license plate "QBFORCE"
