Tarik Black out indefinitely, Isaac "going to be okay"

Submitted by CollegeFootball13 on

Huge bummer. He's been fun to watch. Next man up, WR depth will be tested.

Harbaugh: Tarik Black is going to be out. Will have surgery. Has crack on the outside of his foot. Not sure if he will be back this seasoon

I haven't seen DPJ much as a reciever.  Has he been stuck behind Black, Crawford, and the older guys on the depth chart?  Or is he just not getting the ball sent his way when he's out there?

He had two big catches yesterday. I'm assuming he'll be the next man up to replace Black. So you'll see him and Crawford on the outsides. Only other guy that's been playing is Schoenle, but as a primary blocker.

Between DPJ, Crawford and Perry, we are okay at receiver. I think tight ends will have to be more involved moving forward. Like what I see out of Gentry and McKeon. Very shocked Wheatley has been a non factor.

How much better is Nico Collins as a freshman than Mo Ways as a redshirt junior? I don't see the point in burning Collins's redshirt yet.

That's not what I was hoping for. Hopefully, the silver lining is another WR or two stepping up (McDoom, Collins?). Or they go to the TE more?

Eubanks seems to have the most similar skillset to Black from the TE rotation. Wouldn't mind seeing both Eubanks and Gentry out there at the same time.
