The Talented Shallmans
Didn't see this on the blog from yesterday...
Nice article (paywalled) by Chantel yesterday on Wyatt Shallman. He appears to be quite the character (and high character) and also comes from a "talented" family...

9 out of 10s.
By the way, I'm pretty sure that the article is paywalled.
Don't they know that's bad for their health?
Pics or it didn't happen. (It's paywalled)
This pic automatically makes Shallman my favorite player...
I give it a *counts fingers*, a ten, a f*cking ten.
the talent in that family will never be in doubt...
He'll have alot of friends on the team because of those two.
I think we have our next Attractive Michigan Girls of the Week...
They are total smokestacks, the shirt he's wearing is funny as well.
I'm not doubting their hotness, but the sunglasses are notorious for manipulating the rating scale... factor in alcohol and you have a doozie.
Still Hot.
Nice
I feel like he was one of the "forgotten" recruits in this class (i.e. people talking about the other 2 RBs exclusively)
I wonder if he can fight for playing time
Does anyone know what position Shallman projects to? I know he's quite an athlete with size for a few different positions on both sides of the ball, but I haven't heard where the coaches see him at.
HB/FB/TE/DE. I hope that helps!
Not really helping me out much.
In other words, he's Aaron Shea (and could play defense).
"In elementary school, he once caught a 10-pound bass using nothing more than a Spiderman fishing rod and a Lifesaver candy."
The most interesting man in the world?
Hoke talked about him not so much positionally but role - I can't find it but in the interviews they did with him as they announced kids he talked about him doing some downhill single back, running/blocking from the FB "spot" and catching. My guess is he will run the ball more than some who think he's a pure FB but will end up being used in power scenarios and moved around in the backfield in several scenarios. Might be good to get him redshirted so that he can mature - heard he is young for this class - and they can teach him the multiple skills he'll need if he is going to be in this kind of role.
Wyatt is a funny guy
With his hair and the fact that he will start out at fullback/power back, the similarities to Tim Riggins are tremendous.
Hopefully he's not quite as addicted to alcohol.
...or sleeping with his paralyzed best friend's girlfriend.
Or working in his brother's chop shop
Or breaking into a convenience store to get a burrito for Brooklyn Decker.
Or killing 5 hookers, a la Craig James (allegedly).
Other than the involvement of Peter Berg, those two works have absolutely nothing in common, and as a FNL fan, I'm insulted, and I demand you take it back and that you and I forget about that movie that shall remain nameless, like everyone else in the world already has, okay? That was not Tim Riggins, but a horrifying facsimile. It. Didn't. Happen.
Don't talk about "John Carter" that way.
Maybe she'll visit you while you lie in your casket.
Hey 7, Texas Forever.
For a while there I though you were talking about John Riggins... but the hair didn't fit...
Is anybody familiar with the 0-1-2 scale when it comes to rating broads? If not, then think about...
/no,drunk,sober
the Binary scale. 1=yes, 0=no.
