I feel like he was one of the "forgotten" recruits in this class (i.e. people talking about the other 2 RBs exclusively)

I wonder if he can fight for playing time

Does anyone know what position Shallman projects to? I know he's quite an athlete with size for a few different positions on both sides of the ball, but I haven't heard where the coaches see him at.

"In elementary school, he once caught a 10-pound bass using nothing more than a Spiderman fishing rod and a Lifesaver candy."

The most interesting man in the world?

Hoke talked about him not so much positionally but role - I can't find it but in the interviews they did with him as they announced kids he talked about him doing some downhill single back, running/blocking from the FB "spot" and catching.  My guess is he will run the ball more than some who think he's a pure FB but will end up being used in power scenarios and moved around in the backfield in several scenarios.  Might be good to get him redshirted so that he can mature - heard he is young for this class - and they can teach him the multiple skills he'll need if he is going to be in this kind of role.

Other than the involvement of Peter Berg, those two works have absolutely nothing in common, and as a FNL fan, I'm insulted, and I demand you take it back and that you and I forget about that movie that shall remain nameless, like everyone else in the world already has, okay?  That was not Tim Riggins, but a horrifying facsimile.   It.  Didn't.  Happen.
