Tailgating Prep Thread: Best U of M Single-Color Images (For Tailgating Tent)

Submitted by umich1 on

The season is only two months away!  One of my big purchases for the upcoming season will be a new tailgating tent, and I plan on customizing the design through EZ-UP to make it unique.  As EZ-Up does not have the appropriate licenses to print the Block M (they told me to request permission from the university, good luck to me for that), I'm trying to come up with good single-color images to use, or general ideas really.  Concepts I have so far are family names/years of graduation around the valance, single-color images of Yost, Bo, Hoke, etc, the banner, the winged helmet, etc.

For those talented individuals who do make the single color images that are used on the MGoBlog Tshirts, etc. - what software do you use?  Is it hard to become minimally proficient at it?

Also - what tailgating purchases is everybody making at this time of year to get ready for the fall?

Want control jasc paintshop pro is pretty good as well as adobe photoshop. You can probably download either cheap or free....up to you. Or just ask someone to do it for you?

A 10x20 would give us a little room to move around when it's raining. I'm definitely considering a hitch basket so I can bring my Weber instead of the Coleman.

why you wouldn't email them even if there wasn't a reasonable chance? I guess I just don't see a single reason not to contact them. worse case they say no and you're right back to where you are now.

If you need any vector based images, let me know. I have a few from a few years ago when I made some beer mugs. Some sampling:
