Having lived in TX, Taco Bueno is no bueno. Good on Taco for the sponsorship, though!
I subscribe to the belief that good food doesn't need anything other than word of mouth to promote itself. (That doesn't mean all endorsements are for bad products)

I went to high school in Dallas. High school = Mexican fast food. The best was Del Taco. Probably ate there three times a week. Taco Bell was very average. Taco Bueno smelled like a zoo. I think it was rancid cooking oil. I'm actually shocked it's still around. But hey, I'm happy Taco is cashing in.
I once ate at a Taco Bueno while on a business trip in Dallas... I only ate there once! Only good thing out of it was my colleague sending an email a week later of his MS Paint Taco Bueno artwork. I laughed so hard, it hurt my gut.... just like their food!!
This needed to happen! Taco Bueno is good stuff!
