Please don't be snoozers, they usually are.

Do you cheer for Tom Brady or the local team?
November 25th, 2010 at 12:51 PM ^
You cheer for offense.
November 25th, 2010 at 12:51 PM ^
I love the Lions, and I probably always will, but I'm having trouble rooting against Brady and Zoltan.
November 25th, 2010 at 12:57 PM ^
Lions winning does nothing for Michigan. Brady's success adds greater glory to the Wolverines.

Isn't Crable back on the practice squad?
November 25th, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
He's a Pat.
November 25th, 2010 at 6:16 PM ^
...Yes but that's not my question. I'm not debating whether or not he's a Pat, I'm asking if he's on the active roster or not

SUHHHHHH
November 25th, 2010 at 1:05 PM ^
You gotta show love for Backus...poor bastard has been playing out of position for about the last 4 yrs.
November 25th, 2010 at 1:10 PM ^
Is it okay to live in the Detroit area and just detest the Lions?
November 25th, 2010 at 2:41 PM ^
Yes, although the Lions are just about the least detestable team in the history of professional sports, so I'm not sure where your feelings are coming from.
November 25th, 2010 at 3:16 PM ^
As a Lions fan who has boycotted the team for the last six years because of the Ford family (specifically, the fact that they haven't sold the team), I'd like to know. The way I see it, it's a franchise that collects fans' cash without making an effort (or a competent one, at least) to put a worthwhile team on the field.
November 25th, 2010 at 1:21 PM ^
I love Brady, but he is getting just plowed out there.
goLions
go Blue

This is something that I have been thinking about for a while. The last time they had a winning record I was 15. The NFL product has been lost on me, sure I'll tune in and have a game on in the background while I'm studying, but I have no interest in the league, especially the Lions.
Today, I'm rooting for Tom Brady and Zoltan, not the Lions. It's an organization that has not won since my parents were three, and one playoff win in the interim. I'm completely apathetic toward the franchise. I guess it doesn't help that I find the NFL horribly boring overall.
November 25th, 2010 at 3:43 PM ^
Do you have no interest in the NFL because of its product or because of the Lions (lack of) success?
I think it's no coincidence that of the major sports, baseball and the NFL take a backseat for me to college football, NCAA basketball, and the usually the NBA as well. The Lions and Tigers have had some incredibly bad stretches during my as of now short lifetime.

benjarvus had on his minor RAGE on that TD run
November 25th, 2010 at 2:24 PM ^
and therefore I'll root for the Lions. Just because you were born into a bad team, you don't just not root for them. In that case, don't take as much pleasure in the Wings. That'd be called bandwagon.
November 25th, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
I'm a Detroit sports fan through and through. Goooo Lions!!! I'll root for the team until I die, whether they're good or not. I don't understand the people that don't root for them just cuz they're not winning. What are those fans going to do if Michigan doesn't start winning again soon? For me, the consistent failures of the Lions are setting me up for a glorious feeling for when they do start winning.
November 25th, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
That was Brady's.....1st TD vs. the Lions?!

The corner for the Lions that's been having a rough day must be a big Michigan fan. This is further supported because he is from Pahoke.
November 25th, 2010 at 3:23 PM ^
Am I the only one who thinks the Lions should take Peterson from LSU no matter where they are in the draft?
November 25th, 2010 at 3:30 PM ^
Did anyone else drool when the announcers mentioned Mr. Spots?
November 25th, 2010 at 3:31 PM ^
Now that's a true Michigan Man!
November 25th, 2010 at 3:45 PM ^
With a sack.

...they would be elephantiasis of the brain. Or impotence, take your pick.
Jesus, is it too much to ask them to just win on Thanksgiving!?!
November 25th, 2010 at 4:30 PM ^
What I noticed about the game was that is was a blatant advertisement for Michigan; Brady, Backus, Woods, Mr. Spots, etc.

The Pats made the adjustments they needed to, shows you just how good the coaching is and Brady is !
McCourty is going to be a Pro Bowl Corner !
Raiola is a bum !
The Lions need a Corner,Center, Right Guard, Left Tackle, and 2 linebackers and a 3rd wr ( b johnson and D williams are not the answer)
Move Backus to right guard, Fox to Left tackle,
Draft peterson from LSu in round 1, Best Center who is over 300 lbs in round 2, Trade up to round 2, get a left tackle, BPA rest of draft.
Free Agency - 3rd wr, 2 Linebackers
If Fox is not the answer at Left tackle, need to trade for one, or draft 1, Left tackles aren't stacked this draft, but alot of them will go between 15 and 40 in the draft
get rid of Julian Peterson, CC Brown,Mcdonald, Vasher, and the 2 biggest problems - Raiola and Peterman ( no running game will happen til those 2 bums are gone )
