Sylvania Southview Edges Out St. Francis 23-21 (Allen Gant)
Hard game for me and my boys. The Knights were up 7-3 the whole game and then in the fourth quarter SV took the lead and ended up winning in a close won 23-21. Allen Gant had a lot of good plays defensively. On one play he layed out to swat an important play during the 1st half. He almost cost the team the game late in the fourth when he committed a bad horse collar tackle.... but he was very impressive. Knights gotta bounce back.

FYI, My son is a freshman at SFS. I'm an '88 grad. Frosh beat Southview 15-14 and JV tied Southview this morning 13-13. It's been going around that this is the biggest Freshman class at SFS in over a decade. Both physically and in numbers. 15 or 16 kids on the freshman team 6'+ and still growing. The future looks brite for the Knights.

I'm an 88 SFS grad also. My daughter is a junior at Southview. She is friends with Gant.

That's a huge win sv. Great to hear gant sounds like he's returning to his freshman and sophomore form.

but if it's loss is to someone who aims to help another alma mater, it makes it a little better.
