When will tickets be available? Thinking of making the drive down to Indy. Also, places to stay, eat, etc....
in town for free camps
I can't believe how few m fans were at the Texas game given how close it was to Chicago.
I think Badger fans ate up a lot of tickets.
Badger fans drove prices up through the roof for this round. Made the drive from Chicago and eventually scored lower bowl seats but it wasn't cheap or easy. It was mostly red in the crowd with a solid section of Mich fans. Texas/Oregon had very little representation from my view.
Some of my friends who went Thursday said tonight's tickets were pricey so they didn't go.
Getting tickets won't be the issue. I just bought tickets for FV on ticketmaster....they just opened up a bunch of sections on the 600 level. It's 90 for all 3 games.
I'm sure you could also wait until Friday and score tickets for less than fave.
That may be a view from the moon... But it's also an incredible value. Just to be there.
ticket holders. I believe the deadline to request has passed. Stubhub may be the best bet now. Or, if you just go to Indy, getting them on the street would probably be cheapest.
I spoke with the Ticket Department last week. You are correct that ticket invites went out to season ticket holders and high mgopoints peeps. They expect those two groups to eat up all of Michigan allocated tickets.
How good/bad are these seats. In comparison to the Georgia dome or slightly better? Corner seats there felt a bit like I was watching from the space station.
Thanks, planned a driving trip to Michigan for this weekend, Indy is the 1/2 way point. See ya'll there go blue. :)
Party at my parents!
must eat: St. Elmos. it will set you back a bit, but delicious. best shrimp cocktail.
I'll be in Hawaii. OK, not a terrible bummer.
Have fun in Indy. We'll be in full maize and blue!
You are not lying.
Having Louisville in the same region won't help ticket prices. Only about a 2 hour drive from Indy and obviously hoping to repeat their success from last year.
Match up will multiply this statement by about a million. Those two contingents will invade our fair city.
Got two Elite Eight tickets (couldn't make the Friday game) for $170. Not bad IMHO.
Syracuse down 3 with 38 secs left.
There's an Indianapolis Groupon for tickets - one ticket for either the Friday or Sunday session is about $50 for a 600 level seat
You can go support Jason Wuerfel (former M baseball player) at his new venture in Indy. Books & Brews opened this week, and they are having another concert in their space on Friday evening at 8. A friend of mine is in the band playing, so I promise the music will be good.
Some of you might remember the posts from Jason earlier when he started his Kickstarter campaign to get going.
Getting out of downtown during the tournament can be a good thing. Waits and crowds at restaraunts can be a bit much at this time of year in Indy.
Tickets booked for Sweet 16, may consider selling if Kentucky advances and makes the market price ridic.
I sell tickets as a way to help put myself through college. I have a set of 4 in the lower 117 row 19 to both session that I'm going to sell. I could offer an mgodeal if anyone was interested in them.
Feel free to contact me if interested.
I'm all about it
Also interested! How much are you asking for the set?
Here's the groupon link
Does anybody know what section will be designated as the "Michigan sections"?
