I'm glad they are gone. The refs seem to love to give them gift calls by the bushel,
March 29th, 2014 at 12:26 AM ^
Nice three. Comes too late though.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:26 AM ^
Izzo must have bad gas. He looks like he's in pain.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:27 AM ^
Nice 3, but why the hell did UVA take so much time on that possession???
March 29th, 2014 at 12:27 AM ^
It's going to take a miracle here.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:28 AM ^
Hey at least we are in the "glamour" game.
Curious to see if UK has a hangover as they just played the basketball equivalent of Ohio State UM in football.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:28 AM ^
Seriously? Is there anything Izzo doesn't bitch about?
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
almost more than Dantonio
March 29th, 2014 at 12:31 AM ^
Dont you miss this FT on purpose if you are MSU - cant advance up the court in 1.1 seconds.
EDIT - yes you do.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:31 AM ^
looks like they adopted that strategy
March 29th, 2014 at 12:30 AM ^
Crap.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
strategy blow up in their face, if that somehow would have went in.
First question in post game interview mentions injuries, would the media just let that shit die already?
March 29th, 2014 at 12:31 AM ^
MSU won on a two handed push.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:31 AM ^
Tonight was an amazing night of basketball.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
So appling push off won for MSU - congrats. Narduzzi coaches PGs now.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
LOLZ MSU gets UCONN to punch their ticket to the final 4
March 29th, 2014 at 12:45 AM ^
Quit bitching. Jeez...you guys have to make everything about State. Such a "little brother" mindset. Who gives a fuck about them. Worry about us and if we see them on the final Monday then go beat their brains in.
Dang, I'm sorry my comment bothered you THAT much.
That said, please chill out, and let go of the silly "little brother" meme (I personally think it's pretty lame). I'm not a player, just a random fan who also enjoys catching/following some of UM's rivals (maybe that's not the case for you, but hey, that's just my way of enjoying sports so please let it go). Not sure if "worrying about our game" is really that important for me (or you).
March 29th, 2014 at 10:22 AM ^
Kentucky is a lower seed than UConn, MSU just beat a 1-seed, and we've only had to beat the 15, 7, and 11 seeds thus far. Glass houses
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
UConn doesn't stand a chance, staee is going to walk to the title game and probably win it. Barf
March 29th, 2014 at 12:34 AM ^
Not going to give them that one, but I certainly wouldn't bet against MSU making the title game unfortunately
March 29th, 2014 at 12:36 AM ^
#1 they're playing UConn at the Garden...that's no cakewalk
#2 look at the seeds we will have had to play to get to the Final Four.
They just beat a 1-seed. Give credit when it's due. Or don't and just don't say anything at all.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:44 AM ^
I was giving credit where it's due. They just took out a one seed in a game that didn't seem as close as the score and they now have a much easier path in addition to probably being one of the few teams that can match up with Florida.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:32 AM ^
Did you all know that MSU had injuries all season?
March 29th, 2014 at 12:48 AM ^
I am so glad I was at a bar and couldn't hear the announcers. They are unbareable when MSU plays. They have been healthy for a month and it is still all the commentators dwell on.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:33 AM ^
And Cauley-Stein is hurt...I REALLY like our chances.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:35 AM ^
What happened to Cauley-Stein? Wasn't watching earlier.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:37 AM ^
Yelled that it "popped."
March 29th, 2014 at 12:33 AM ^
but in the end, we were the only non-upset of the night
#7 over #3
#4 over #1
#8 over #4
It was horrifying, but as they say, a win's a win in the tournament. Advive and survance
March 29th, 2014 at 12:38 AM ^
BUT MSU was favored.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:34 AM ^
I am so sick of this Princess Lacy story, and I don't feel bad about it. The press just ruins every feel good story.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:39 AM ^
They're going to find something and beat it into your skull.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:45 AM ^
I think the right reaction is "hooray for her but considering what Payne allegedly did his freshman year, let's not hold him up like some kind of humanitarian."
March 29th, 2014 at 12:46 AM ^
Exactly
March 29th, 2014 at 12:43 AM ^
There is nothing, NOTHING to dislike about an 8-year old girl fighting cancer and her relationship with MSU basketball players.
March 29th, 2014 at 12:40 AM ^
Odds the media obsesses over the total bullshit non-call on Appling?
March 29th, 2014 at 12:40 AM ^
Elite 8; ACC - 0, Big 12 - 0, Pac 12 - 1, BIG - 3. Welcome to the BIG 10 bitches...
March 29th, 2014 at 12:41 AM ^
Me and my dad are in a block pool for March Madness (for those of you who don't know what it is, you have blocks that have the last number of the winning team's score and losing team's score. For every game you win, you get money, and the number increases each round). One of our blocks is 2 for the winners, 9 for the losers. If Izzo didn't have Harris miss that last free throw on purpose, we would've won $200. So Tom Izzo cost us $200. Moral of the story, fuck Sparty
March 29th, 2014 at 12:44 AM ^
Rece Davis said MSU is still not fully healthy....I mean WTF?! Come on already give it a fucking rest
March 29th, 2014 at 12:45 AM ^
Media loves to protect Izzo.
is the charge call at the end. What about the blown out of bounds call. Or how about the fact that Michigan is a really good team and going to their 2nd straight Elite 8
And of course they all picked Kentucky to win.
