Trey Burke appeared on the SVP and Russillo Show radio show today. His part of the show starts at the 40:24 mark. The segment is short, but it was nice to hear him on a national program.
Enjoy
TWICE. And it may be a little selfish (ok a lot selfish) to say I want him to come back next year. Imagine this team with this year behind them going into next year... It's a far fetched dream but to see a senior hardaway, a junior Burke, and sophomores Robinson and stauskas. Add in the big man rotation plus a year and man that has the blood flowing.
A man can dream can't he
If you spell Crisler like the car company you should hand in your fan card before the next meeting.... Same goes for Ferry Field
I don't know what he has left to prove. Improve his shot selection? I mean, unless he wants to set some records, win an NCAA title (if they don't get it this season), average 20 and 10 next year, I just don't know what else he would stay for.
Wants to get his degree. Maybe he wants to be able to come back in a couple years for a jersey retirement ceremony. Maybe if they go for a run in the tourny he gets that taste of greatness and he wants to be known as one of the greatest wolverines ever.

His BFF came back because of an early tourney exit and lost quite a lot of money, tho that was mostly due to injury.

If Burke becomes a lottery pick, JB will be the first person to advise him to "make hay while the sun shines." I would love to see him come back, but it's a tad selfish to ask a young man to turn down that kind of money so that "our" team will do better next year.
As a lottery pick, Burke will sign a guaranteed contract that is more than grads near the middle of the class, even from a great school like Michigan, will earn in their entire lives.
keep it in your shorts buddy
To Hell with Notre Dame
Right before they had him on the show, one of them stated that he believed Michigan was a better team than both Indiana and Michigan State. Great to see us getting props, even after a rough few weeks.
I've met Trey in West Quad (GF lives there) and I can absolutely and honestly say he is one of the most humble, respectful, and polite of persons I have ever met. I root for him because of my love for MBB and his elite skill, but I hope it does not got unnoticed that he is an upstanding citizen and very thankful for where he is at.
God Bless, Trey, Go Blue, and thank you for choosing Michigan.
I love Greg Mattison
