I understand criticism, but some of you are the biggest whiney bitches I have ever heard.
I go on this blog and follow this team at a frequent obsessive pace like most of you.
We all want Michigan to win. Some of you need to get life.

We 'll see if any reporters ask hoke about bad oline play and better yet how he thinks they played. And what was with some of the player quotes regarding how the fans would see how much the oline is pushing forward, etc. please improve!

I don't think we should expect much honest criticism in his public comments.  Or, if his public comments actually reflect his true assessments, we should all be terrified.  E.g., October 2013, after 27 for 27 performance: "I've got a great offensive line coach. I've got a great (offensive) coordinator."

If you don't want to be real negative, why are you being real negative?  This was a practice.  A young O-Line getting knocked around in a scrimmage by a more experienced D-Line two weeks before the season isn't necessarily a dire omen.  It happens a lot and this is how you learn where you are and what you need to do.

In reality they have a full 3 weeks before ND.  A lot can change.

It's true that it takes OLs longer to get their act together than DLs.  OL is all about coordination between players, group timing, etc.; whereas DL is a far more individual pursuit (LBs are cleaning up behind you).

But is it really "just too early to draw any conclusions about how [the OL] will do all season"?  Last year there was a terrible disparity between OL and DL line preseason, too--and that disparity was quite predictive of in-season play.

I'm not going to panic yet. I remember back to last season where, through 2 games, MSU's offense had managed to score two touchdowns. No one was picking them to do anything but repeat what they had done the year before. This team still has two weeks to put the work in. They'll improve.

no one was too excited about the offense back then either.  Especially in the beginning.  The other thing as well, I can imagine the improvement for the offense to be rapid  if they go up against a defense that is as good as Mattison is saying it is.  And he should know as he had a hand in putting that squad together too.
