In OT news: Tigers lead the mariners 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th. The tigers have been frustrating King Felix with both him and Lloyd Mclenndon regularly barking at the ump (lloyd was tossed in the second inning for arguing balls and strikes).

All I will say right now is that changing out of Renaissance Festival (we were up in Holly) stuff and into Michigan gear (in Ann Arbor) in a minivan is a real bitch, but I am sure that the people on either side of our car did not even want to know what was going on.

Countess goes to NB. He really struggled in man and tight coverage last year. Maybe the knee, but it became worse as the season progressed. JP is so physical and fast that it's hard to see him sitting any plays if the NB scheme isn't used. His competitiveness is also needed on the field every down.

It's far and away the best unit...Clark looks like a beast, finally will have inside presence on the D Line

I had the same thought on Dever watching the spring game.  Dever looks like a quick slot guy who catches everything thrown at him but doesn't have the speed to get deep.  Sounds a lot like Dileo to me.  He also appeared to have the same running style.

I think 5'10 is being verrry generous to Dileo.  That might be the program height from last year, but it probably more like 5'8.

Is there at least a slim possibility that this is the best defense this offense will face this year?  Just a little tiny possibility?  One of the top two or three at least?
