The Seahawks were just that much better. The 49ers are the only team that even belong near the same class as them.

all were better all around teams than Seattle.
Seattle is a very good team, but these other teams could dominate on BOTH sides of the ball.

You are watching the Seahawks beat the highest scoring offense of all-time 36-0 as I write this and you don't think that's dominant? I'm not sure what to say to that. Seattle doesn't need to score 30 points a game when they are this good on special teams and D. Seattle's offense although its beleguered has been top ten all year long according to football outsiders FEI ratings.
I should mention though I wasn't talking about the Seahawks in terms of all time teams. I was merely stating that this year they were in a class by themselves.

So in Super Bowl XXIV, 1/28/90, Denver lost 55-10 to SF. In Super Bowl XXII, 1/31/88, they lost 42-10 to Washington.

I forgot about the 1990 game between SF and Denver. And maybe the score looked worse with other games, but I remember sitting at home and thinking that SF could have scored 60 if they had wanted to.
