UCLA is up 14-7 at halftime in El Paso. The Liberty Bowl is about to kickoff from Memphis.
Mason NEEDS this, Pistons, after all you've put him through
I see Rice's helmets finally arrived from Eugene, Oregon.
I have been watching the Sun Bowl myself.
It actually just dawned on me that Virginia Tech has used eight different rushers - including Logan Thomas - and managed only 128 yards between all of them, the two most successful being Logan Thomas and Carlis Parker.
I feel like every game VA Tech plays is just brutal to watch.
I love this kid. Great player, and the segment at halftime on he and his sister was really good.
UCLA looks absolutely loaded for bear in this game and has pretty much dominated defensively. Watching both them and VT play defense and cause a ton of havoc by playing aggressivle, just makes me regret the bend but don't break style even more.
Gotta love Myles Jack. Obviously different positions and players but he's the kinda play maker were all praying Peppers turns into right out of the gate.
He would have been great back in the single platoon era.
Goes to show what good coaching can do. UCLA has 3 TRUE FRESHMAN starting on the OL and they won 10 games. What's that about inexperienced on the OL? Seems like UCLA has had no problem with it.
Must come up on every single post?
has had their issues with their Oline, they are ranked #112 in tackles for loss. The difference is having a QB who doesn't make as many mistakes.
but...but...they've done a great job with an OL as young as ours.
a better defense, better special teams and better offensive weapons. The total package is decidedly in UCLA's favor.
...you don't recall people around here pointing to UCLA as an example of not using a young OL as an excuse for poor OL performance.
They also have Myles Jack and Anthony Barr to offset it. We'll see if Peppers and Jake Ryan can be those guys in 2014.
