Summer Swarm continues to Houston, TX later on today
Coach Harbaugh and Gang is heading to Houston later on today between 4pm-8pm. If there is anything that I miss let me know.
Dont mind me just trying to nab the next Andrew Luck out of H-town.
I am not so sure we don't have him already. I LOVE everything I've seen so far- form, athleticism, coachability, and pocket awareness.
Agreed. Peters is a great QB for Harbaugh. He has underrated athleticism as he is a pretty darn good basketball player too. Jim might be able to get him to reach Andrew Luck heights (as he has done with a prospect before, obviously), but in terms of other NFL starters he reminds me of Ryan Tannehill, with his current game.
Anyone know which camps the coaches will be coaching (Pratville) vs. observing (PA)?
probably a bit better (but not by much) in the evening.
it won't be much better from 4-8pm. I've spent 8 years in this shit, even the middle of the night sucks this time of year.
I lived in Austin and travelled to Houston often. The hottest part of the day in Texas is around 6:00PM and it is almost always humid in Houston.
Let me guess.... Not a member of the Chamber of Commerce?
Haha. You think you'd be used to it by now. Besides the winters' are worth it.
Although the rain the previous 3 weeks was brutal.
Humans were never meant to habitate here in the summer.
However, I love the winters and the cost of living $ wise can't be beat plus the restaurant diversity here is only surpassed by NY and Chicago in my opinion.
Kev.
Texas should be a low humidity relief.
the terrible June cold in Michigan.

I just looked at the current conditions, out of curiosity. Per the NWS, it's already 80 degrees with 74% as the relative humidity, on the way into the low 90s today. Yuck. We have stretches like that in Michigan, but in the grand scheme of summer they aren't nearly as common as they are down there. Totally get having this camp past peak sunlight hours.
Yeah, not so much with Houston. Humidity there is off the charts.
Texas weather is no joke but I guy thats why they scheduled it later part of the afternoon
After camping in Florida and Alabama, I think he'll handle the Texas humidity just fine :D
We really have to speculate?
Although, I urge coach to buck convention and shelf the khaki slacks for some shorts.

I would do unspeakable acts t have Dontavious Jackson and Chris Brown commit at the camp today. DJ will be our next David Harris, kid is as solid a ILB prospect as they come. Plus a solid foothold in Texas recruiting is something we haven't had since Lloyd lleft.
Dontavious Jackson and Dytarious Johnson. Wowza.

Why don't you save that joke for when the tour hits California. Better yet, just stop with the joke altogether because it sucks so bad.
So the "Is Oakland still in play?" joke isn't still in play for being funny? Or . . . does it still have a chance? Is it . . . in play? In the running? Could it come back? Should I comment more about jorts? Could I be popular then?!?
Not under any circumstances using the "Oakland" joke, if you can call it a joke. It was stupid when it started, was stupider this spring, and is stupiderest now.
Never is the only good time to use it.
Stupiderest could very well be Pinky's new handle when he inevitably gets banned again.
for any Oakland being in play joke. Even, or especially, when it's completely out of context.
They can handle the snow and cold.
I'm going to be so sad when the camp tour ends. What will I do with all these time at work on a computer?

Among some of the prospects we're expecting to be in attendance:
2017 five-star DT Marvin Wilson
2016 Top100 LB Jeffrey McCulloch
2016 Top100 DE Isaiah Chambers
2016 Top100 LB Dontavious Jackson
2016 Three-star safety offer Chris Brown
A couple other potential campers are 2017 Top100 teammates Austin Deculus (OL) and Brock Wright (TE) out of Cy-Fair HS, but it's uncertain whether or not they will make it. 2016 Top50 and current Houston commit Jordan Elliott also expressed interest in attending as well, and 2017 five-star running back Toneil Carter may attend also.
wants all your recruits. I'd love to see another safety/athlete and a couple more DL. I have a good gut feeling about Dontavious.
