I could not agree more. Never have I witnessed a defensive tackle with as much prowess as Suh. They guy is a baller. Although he won't win the award, he should at least get invited to NYC.

It is hard to tell what the heisman trophy is all about these days. Even discussing Tebow or McCoy would be a joke for the number one spot this season in the heisman talk. Look at what the player does for your team, and where would you be without them. Texas and Florida would still be 8-4 and possibly 9-3 if they missed Tebow and McCoy. McCoy was one second away from being the biggest joke in college football history! Wow what a finish...thanks kick out of bounds and horse collar tackle. Now take Gearhart (I can't spell, it is too late) and Suh off those teams where would they be. I can tell you right now Standord doesn't make a bowl this season without this special running back. The great U of M alumni doesn't get his signature win without him either (beating USC again). Suh on the other hand changed the whole Big 12 Championship game. I have a feeling that he would of had this performance against any team in division one football. Looking at Nebraska's offense I have a hard time believing that Nebraska should have even been in the Big 12 title. Suh played like a Man in a little league game. I will tell you this, being a Lions fan there isn't a lot to be proud of. But I would welcome that amazing defensive player any day of the week. #2 draft pick Suh!!

At the risk of getting a million negative mgopoints, I disagree. Graham is sick, but Suh is just flat terrifying. Holy horse shit he was just awesome tonight. I couldn't care less who won that damn trophy, but I thought BG was the best player I saw all year until tonight.

Noone has been consistently good on offense and Suh has been nasty week in and out on D. This would be the perfect year to reward a defensive player! Preseason, everyone talking about Bradford, Tebow, Mccoy, not one deserves it, give it to the future Detroit Lion, NDomakong Suh!

this would be as good a year as any for a defensive player to win it! its too bad he didnt get to play some offense as well, like chuck, that would have really made him a stronger candidate.

1) Toby Gerhart He is Stanford's offence and without him the team would probably have half the wins 2) Ndamukung Suh Tonights game, case closed. 3) Jimmah Clausen You can hate on him all you want, he has had a tremendous year and deserves to be in conversation. If the Irish had any kind of defense the media would be all over him.

The Heisman is for the best player. Period. Those of you who interpret it as "MVP" don't understand the award. The question isn't about "Where would his team be without him?" You could take the best player off of pretty much any team and their performance would suffer. It's about who makes opponents look stupid and/or like Pee Wee players.

If you are talking QBs, there are 17 better, as per ESPN stats, than McCoy. 7 better than Tebow. Gerhart has more yards and TDs than Ingram does. Suh has 82 tackles, 12 sacks and 1 INT. I guess I am glad I am not a voter. Maybe toss all the favourites in an MMA cage and let them blow each other out for it? That'd be sweet.

I definitely don't think Tebow or McCoy deserve to win, but you can't always judge D-1 QB's in top-notch conferences by their stats in comparison to other QB's. There are always a few QB's from non-BCS schools that have amazing passing stats because of the teams they play against. Colt Brennan is a great example here. He was a great player, but if you put him in the SEC his stats are probably nowhere near what they were.
