With Courtney Avery back in the fold, will Countess stay outside?
spoiler alert: i linked this
With Courtney Avery back in the fold, will Countess stay outside?
That was already asked, and the answer was 'no'. Countess stays at nickel when in that package.
Why have the issues from the last two years not been addressed?
No. That question won't work. It is too specific.
How does one "dial up" a blitz? Do we have that number on speed dial?
Incessantly pound it up the middle on first down, for no gain. Why are we doing it now, but this time for a two-yard loss?
now you've squeezed the last of the tears out of me.
Are you seriously considering making Offensive Line changes, because "competing" in practice has netted the same performance on the field?
Has Devin ever been taught not to turn his back to the LOS while scrambling, and to carry the ball close to his body?
Will you consider wearing a headset on the sideline now?
If you ask him any of these.... please note you would like a non generic coach speak answer.
We're spotting teams 7-10 points a game on that headset deal.
You're going to make me type /s after that?
Some idiot on the radio said he did not care whether Hoke listened to anything, only that he wore the headset...apparently that is what they teach in armchair coaching school...
Why is the O-line struggling so much to move the line of scrimmage in short yardage?
Before the Michigan game started last night I watched some of the Stanford/ASU game. Stanford had a short yardage play where their line pushed ASU back like five yards. Everyone in the stadium knew it was going to be a run. ASU had the box stacked and still Stanford was able to fire off the ball and knock people back. I have not seen that out of MIchigan's O-line the past couple years.
M goes into shotgun on 3rd and 4th and short. That is not manball
I thought the same thing. When is the last time you saw Michigan line up in a base power formation and run the ball up the middle for 3-4 yards? Lloyd Carr era maybe? Jeez, I never thought I'd miss that play but I do now.
BRING BACK MIKE DEBROD!
A Debord/Rodriguez combination. I don't even know how that offense would go...
We've got two rs so and a rs fr, one of whom was a walk on, one of whom was recruited for spread zone blocking and you wonder why the interior o-line, now with 4 starts each are not dominating everyone?
I'm not sure why they aren't getting huge push. It's just beyond me.
So two guys who are in their third year in the program and one guy in his second year should not be able to push defensive lineman a few yards when blocking straight ahead?
They are all low on experience and everyone knew Miller was not going to manhandle anyone. Take away good push by the center and poor blocking even by him, couple it with no experience for the guys on either side...
I didn't have a whole lot of expectations, but I think things would be better if fitz would follow his lead blocker. The the tight ends could block. And the wr blocking was consistent.
Remember how Will Campbell couldn't really play? Or Heininger? Q Wash? Then they played respectably to well after Mattison and Hoke coached them up. Why should the expectations not be at least that for these three guys, two of them in their third year?
or the difference between OSU's offensive line after they picked up their current O line coach.
Nobody is wondering why they aren't dominating EVERYONE but, it's not too much to ask to dominate an 0-36 Akron team or 0-2 UCon team who got trounced by an FCS team. I think most people would be happy with some improvement from week to week but, it's looking like last year where we just hoped improvement would happen all year and it never came.
is for the position. It doesn't matter what age they are. If they can't do it in a game then someone else deserves a chance.
Is it really necessary to sandbag the Big Ten to this level?
Which would you choose: BTB, Qdoba, Chipotle, or Moes?
the important issues.
Nothing beats the Every Meat Burritos from Jimbros' Burritos.
Freebirds World Burrito.
How does a coach mend a quarterback's tattered confidence?
What's your favorite color?
Where did you get that avatar?
Have you ever had your expectations for a season drop off of a cliff in 2 weeks like this before?
When will we realize we cannot rush 4 and expect pressure?
You do realize that OSU won 76-0 and the predicted spread for our game will be +35 at home?
The past 2 weeks I feel as if we lost. I felt we could be 9-3 maybe better. Now who knows what will happen. My confidence is shattered!
Is that you?
Uhhhh no. I was never here.
The spread really had these last two M games pegged, huh?
Is oline struggling?
Why don't we make adjustments at the line line of scrimmage based on what the defense is showing? I'm talking about where they line up and then look to the sideline for the play call. Also, when other teams audible out of a play because we never disguise our blitz, why don't we counter with a defensive audible?
This touches on what I have been thinking. Adjustments...adjustments...we don't seem to make any. If we know that D's will attempt to attack our young interior, can we please make an adjustment.
what is the progress of guys like Bryant, Burzynski, etc? The oline is struggling, what are you doing to fix?
Why doesn't funchess get more looks?
Why isn't Green or Smith getting a couple of carries, particularly early in game?
How can you get Gallon more involved in the game?
Do we practice special teams in practice?
Talk about the number of penalties and turnovers? Why is this getting worse?
Funchess was having a really....reeeeaaaalllly bad night in pass pro and run blocking.
The best question by far haha
Jake Ryan playing Saturday and if he is how much?
although I'm sure that won't be answered
its a bye week. I can even answer that one for ya.
1. Why is the team coming out soft and essentially on the defensive, allowing the other team to be the aggressors the last two weeks?
2. When it is clear the starters are not being the aggressors why not bring in a backup to get some passion on the field?
3. Is the old saying true that anteam is the reflection of it's head coach?
4. Are you able to get your team to come out like a band of bullies or not?
Fitz won't follow his lead blocker. When he does, see the second half of this game. Nearly 100 yards on the half, few negative plays unless the middle of the line or the te fell apart.
Knowing a team can't run the ball brings continuous pressure on a young qb without many actual starts to his name. And this qb has one experienced outside receiver who can make the moderately difficult catch, a couple mediocre dudes, and a te who can't block. The number two rb and wr being out is probably not helpful.
When going unbalanced, why has it changed from Schofield and lewan in the left to magnuson and lewan? Also why move lewan out to the tight end instead of having him at tackle and magnuson at end? I highly doubt Schofield or lewan would have been blown back like magnuson on the sneak.
How has green progressed in pass protection? Is that one of the main problems preventing him from getting in the game?
Is having deleo as returner on punts die to his hands and experience?
What's the advantage of having the back up quarterbacks simply listening to the the play calls as opposed to signaling in the plays? Is this a way to simplify the gameplay without confusion for freshmen quarterbacks? Is it a way to help with mental reps?
Will the five points of pressure be an emphasis in the future with devin while he runs?
on unbalanced lines you always put your weakest lineman at the inside tackle.
Devils advocate...why run a sneak behind him then? The first games Schofield and lewan were partnered on unbalanced. I'd rather run behind my all American and take my chances my end gets a kickout then let him get blown back by a d tackle like whya happened in the fumble.
Devin needs to hold onto the ball. He is consistently (4 games of data this season) a turnover machine. Michigan will never go far if we turn the ball over 4 times per game no matter who the opponent is.
Why can other teams rush 2 and 3 players and get to Gardner with regularity? It's hilarious and embarassing.
Did the team spend any time over the summer and fall practicing? Sure doesn't look like it.
Green, Rawls, Smith - there's plenty of options to spell Fitz. Why run him into the ground so early in the season? Why do we not set up plays and then counter them? For example we ran a reverse yesterday off of a sweep that we never ran to set it up. Where is the counter? How many INTs does Devin have to throw to get benched? I think a series on the pine might calm him down sometimes. Why not try starting the five best run blockers on our line?
Why are you not throwing more quick-outs?
do they know where the weight room is located?
How do you explain the difference in performance between the defense and the offense? We have new starters on both sides. Is the difference personnel or coaching?
The O-line has not improved over the course of 4 games. Obviously background preparation has not been working. There is a saying about doing the same things over and over and expecting different outcomes. How do you plan to improve their performance?
Similarly, how do you plan to improve performance at the QB position?
Which of the two is true:
A. Are we really that bad?
B. Is every team we face that damn good?
Where's the better preparation you promised after Akron? But in all seriousness, Gardner lost any confidence he had left when he threw that 1st pick. He needs to learn to shake bad plays off.
What changes will be made over the bye week to prepare for B1G play?
Have you considered benching Devon? He's keeping weak teams in the games by THROWING THEM THE BALL!!
Traditionally, Michigan has its "creampuff" part of the schedule at the beginning of the season.
At what part of the season are this year's creampuff games scheduled?
The media makes themselves look bad enough...then we as fans make these threads and look like complete idiots.
We read these pressers every week and complain about the questions, then make a thread and ours are a million times worse.
To the OP.
Spell our players' names correctly if you're gonna bitch or be sarcastic.
What has Green done to deserve more snaps? Fitz had 121 yards last night...why are you asking about the backup? Did you ask about Morris after the ND game?
For your 2nd question...you don't specify offense or defense. Also, "burning?" You sound like a fan.
Number 3. "Wellll....there may be some of that, we'll have to look at the film." There... you're question is answered.
This is why the MGoQuestions are far and away the best questions asked during pressers. They typically require an answer. That answer typically teaches or sheds light on something.
Too often people want to ask questions to prove a point or just because they want to "hear the coach say it." That's stupid.
I understand asking "did you think about going to Morris when Devin was struggling. " I don't understand "what hasn't Morris done to get a look?"
But why not ask stuff that is really going to give us all information and insight?
There is one particular comment in this thread (a thread really aimed at venting - its not like any of us think a proposed question will actually be asked), a comment which is different from all the rest, that looks idiotic. You be the guess which one I am referring to.
Have you considered getting Gardner checked for color blindness? Or is there some other reason he keeps throwing to guys on opposing teams?
1. Why has the team regressed over 3 years despite replacing 3 star athletes with 4-5 star athletes?
2. When you talk about repsonsibility how does this apply to your coaching staff, particularly your Oline coach?
3. Speaking of your OLine, why recruit so many kids to come to Michigan, if your going to play walkons? Does this speak to your effectiveness of evaluating talent or again is it on the Oline coaching?
4. Why can't we field punts anymore?
5. Have you considered benching Devin for a series or two so he can relax and re-focus?
6. Where is the toughness you keep preaching about? We sure haven't seen it.
Doomsday much? When 3/5 of your Oline had zero career starts before this year there will be growing pains. Look at our depth chart... He doesn't have the seniors or juniors to play so while we have 4/5 star recruits they have as much college football experience as you do.
Florida State started 4 sophmores and 1 junior last season, and never looked this bad.
Best coaches just get it done
Practice reps are different than game reps...especially when teams change fronts or stunts they have never seen before. It will get better trust me. Devin also needs to get less happy feet. He is to quick to vacate the pocket at times causing protection to break down. I agree they should have better protection but there is no substitute for game reps
Are you old enough to remember Demetrius Brown? Devin is giving me nightmare flashbacks!
I remember Demetrius Brown. In 1988, did you want to ask Bo why the team had regressed after 19 consecutive years of recruiting top talent (in a 125 scholarship environment)?
Bo didn't need to be told.
After the last two games, yeah probably a little much on my part, but I'm pissed. Where is the damn toughness?
Yay! One quarter out of the last 8. The Oline has regressed if you can't or won't admit that then that's your deal. I've watched Michigan football for a long time, this Oline is not tough.
How have they regressed? They are no worse now than they were against CMU. And we knew UConn's interior DL was very good before the game.
Maybe they are not tough enough. But whining about it like a four-year-old isn't going to help anything.
At what point should you start to see improvement from young offensive lineman and at what point do you say ok this is not working lets go back to the drawing board.
The question I want asked is How afraid should we be next year when Lewan and Schofield graduate.
When can we exspect to see a Coach funk coached offensive line not suck terribly?
Year 1 the o line was very solid, year 2 i thought was big step back and now year 3 i thought couldn't get worse than year 2.... I was wrong.
The answer to #1 might be youth. Yeah, Hoke's recruits are highly rated, but they're also freshmen and sophomores.
How big of a derp fest can we expect the msu game to look with the two high powered offenses?
And what does he do?
There was a teaching aspect to these last two games. If you want someone to learn something, you have to give them the opportunity to do it -- especially if you think they can do it and you don't think you are setting unrealistic goals for them.
I thought I saw an unwillingness from the coaches to abandon everything they've been teaching and just start doing what works short-term. The attitude was more like, "These two games are the only chance we have to drive these lessons home. If we lose, so be it. These games don't count in the B1G. If we're going to improve, these kids have to learn to do these things now, before it matters. Once the B1G season starts, we will make adjustments and do whatever it takes to win, but today/tonight all that matters is learning."
Yes yes, 1000x yes!
I see that you are back with your "coaches can do no wrong" idiocy.
"All is well!! All is well!!!"
Should they put DG back at receiver when Bellomy returns to health?
I don't know that rolling with what doesn't work is worth losing to Akron or UConn.
Maybe resort to practice time with pro style when the game is in-hand.
1. Why is the team getting bitch slapped by teams they should bury?
Aaron Wellman's S&C program is more effective than Mike Barwis's S&C program?"
Also, the size and musculature of the players.
Not losing every game in the 2nd half as we were wont to do when Barwis was in charge.
But it certainly seemed like we had completely worn down U-Conn's D at the end of the game.
I actually think Barwis was the worst part of the Rodriguez regime. Our guys stayed pretty small and we were dreadful in the 2nd halves of games and seasons. The idea was to get away from having big, bulky teams so that we could be faster and better conditioned, and I think we failed in that respect and were left with smaller, weaker players.
He was just awful in terms of securing the ball. All the near losses were due to his turnovers.
Perhaps you can start Shane or Brian instead?
I don't think you understand football
... or what "Bye" means.
on both sides of the ball.
Did you see improvement in the fundamental pass rush?
WHY: I thought I saw some improvement in the fundamentals. Not overwhelming, but it wasn't like last week -- they no longer seemed like they were waiting for a blitz to bail them out. They worked to generate a pass rush without outside help. Not always successful, but not always struggling, either.
It's less clear to me what to ask about the O line. This has to be the top issue for UFR. I had no problem writing last week off to failed leadership and the like, but this week it boiled down to execution. Probably last week, too. In retrospect. I guess I would try to phrase it thus:
What do you think opposing B1G defensive coordinators will see as Michigan's weakest points in terms of fundamentals on the O line?
7. Is Devin related to Demetrius Brown?
Why would you think he was hurt?
You have no idea who Demetrious Brown is as related to my comment.
Green is not 220, but prolly 240
Can we burn every page of the playbook that contains zone blocking?
Is Al Borges allergic to counter plays, in the same manner as bubble screens?
is a force player designated on every defensive play? Is that player made aware of his assignment?
Are Green, Rawls, Hayes, Smith all that bad? Do you think NOT playing them in the game will help them in practice?
It seemed to me that the zone plays were where we finally started having success running the ball last night--are you just referring the the zone-read type plays?
Toussaint is our best back. I really don't see why people think we'll have better results if we put in somebody else.
Where we run parrallel to the line of scrimmage, is just awful and results in many negative yardage plays. When the linemen push downfield using zone concepts (see option play for TD) we dictate to the defense our will, instead of trying to stop downhill running defenders from picking us apart.
How do you know?? Because they tell you so?
Will the offensive line be the same in 2 weeks, if so will they block anyone? Will Jack Miller continue to miss blocks completely or get shoved back into the the play a lot? Can a legacy jersey be taken back?
Specific players are not "meeting the expectations for the position". Why are the same five starting/playing? Are all the backups below expectation as well?
Where do we sign up to be donors for that attitude transplant?
Apparently the team got the wrong "type" after Akron. Need 85 passion donors.
Do you really think we are being outplayed? Or are you just unhappy with how we've played?
Because both of our opponents have lost games when dominating the turnover battle and have blown late leads. UConn did this at home.
If we were in their shoes, this board would be on fire. I think we've played poorly, but I don't think we've been outplayed.
If our goal is to become a physical pro style offense why are we running so many outside zone stretch running plays that are getting negative yardage when ISO's and power are looking much more effective?
Jack MIller seems to be getting blown off the ball a lot, are we going to see any changes?
Is Devins poor play a direct reflectment of the Offensive coordinator and QB coach?
See my comment above about teaching with regard to your first question. I truly believe that has something to do with it.
The question about Miller is not going to get answered, but it is the right question.
Love the new word, "reflectment" -- and it's a good question because Borges will answer it.
We have QB coach?
Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
How much longer do we have to watch a base defense? On offense where is the accountability?
leaves this team vulnerable to lazy play, contributing to the desire of many schools to knock the institution off of its pedestal? Is Michigan destined to spend the rest of the season playing scared?
Seriously, what kind of playcalls did you want from him yesterday when our OL was a sieve and our QB a bundle of nerves? Did you want Devin to carry it 35 times?
Gorgeous Al isn't a miracle worker, but when he gets a decent level of execution, he can do really good things. The 41 points we dropped on ND is looking pretty good right now. Their other three opponents have scored a combined total of 43.
Should we seriously look at replacing these coaches.
mallory-his defenses at illinois before this were terrible and we really cant contain a decent passing attack
funk- SERIOUSLY? What has this guy done? I really felt our oline has gotten worse since brady took over. We have had recruits pour into here. To have this...less than mediocrity on the field is hard to watch. This is the first head I would axe. Spend some money and bring in someone who can run a michigan o-line.
Borges- I dont mind his play calling as much as some. Its the game preperation like some people have mentioned. Being Devins quarterback coach and not coaching fundamentals like ball security, when to run, when not to run. o yea...STOP RUNNING 20 YARDS IN THE BACKFIELD TRYING TO SCRAMLE AWAY FROM PRESSURE.
This season is going to be rough, because if we truly have the best players on the field, then it would be alot worse if we have Bryant in there or Green for that matter.
Btw for all of you that want Green to play...You can tell he isnt in game shape, fitz is the clear #1 back by far, and if it was up to me. Id give fitz a break occasionally with rawls or hayes.
just angry after watching that game.....that is all
The OL talent that has been pouring in is young - they are RS frosh at the oldest. One of those is playing, and looking OK, but you can't build a line with RS frosh and true frosh.
Why didn't you bring in Maxwell to run the offense in the final drive? Oh wait....
During the last 2 weeks is "you do realize you're getting your asses kicked by flippin Akron/Uconn," part of the halftime talk? As I'm watching the games it's certainly part of my outbursts. Embarrassing has been said several times too....I thought we were past that with rr being gone.
Gardner couldn't beat out Denard?
Are we the worst 4-0 in college football today, the worst 4-0 team in Michigan football history or actually the worst 4-0 team in the history of sport?
Good Lord we are overreacting right now to a road WIN. As evidenced from my name I am older than most of you but trust me, 4-0 playing poorly is WAY, WAY better than, lets say, 0-2 and playing great. Go back to 1988 and look at the start of our season. We lost a heartbreaker to Notre Dame in the opener and then followed that game up with an even more mind-crushing defeat at home to #1 ranked Miami - a game we led by 17 midway through the fourth quarter and a game where we totally outplayed them.
I remember exactly how I felt in 1988 two games in. Team played well - lost both times. This year the team played poorly - won both games. This is exponentially better.
That Miami game was huge choke job. I remember watching that game...31-30-correct?
Yup. One of the THE most painful losses ever.
And that team didnt lose another game FWIW.
I'm old like you and Devin keeps giving me Demetrious Brown nightmare flashbacks!
I'd much rather lose a competetive game to a number 1 ranked team then barely scrape by 2 of the worst teams in the FBS. Least then you know you have a pretty good team.
is the way Devin holds the ball, one little bump from his O-Lineman's butt created a fumble for a TD, someone please address this with him.
And also as others have asked, what's the policy of changing up players who are not performing at a high level, why aren't we putting in other guys to see what they can do?
I can't believe all this outright bitching. Now I understand where Pelini must have been coming from.
If you don't expect people to bitch after struggling against these scrub teams. Lewan probably regrets coming back, should've taken $ and left
Well, besides the fact that Pelini was bitching about his home crowd leaving early in the game against OSU, wherein Nebraska staged a huge comeback, yeah. I would say fans complaining about being taken to the wire by winless cellar-dwellers is CERTAINLY the same as Pelini.
Facts matter. Stupidity abounds. If you're not troubled by how this team is playing right now, I don't know what the hell you've been watching.
Am I concerned about the way the team has been playing? Sure. But I don't see that as a reason to declare that our coaches all need to be fired, our starting linemen need to be replaced by backups, our QB needs to be benched, and the head coach needs to be asked how bad we suck.
What will make Devin think....taking the Legend Jesey away or if he continues with turnovers should we throw Shane in and how long before we start looking for another Offense coordinator.
Here's one. What the fuck?
Love Taylor Lewan - but would want to get a question to him: Now that you are embarrised (I assume) a second straight week do you really, really, really mean this time, it won't happen again?
Are you hungry or are you starving?
What is the expectation for the position of Special Teams coach?
We seem to be coaching our players for failure on special teams.
Jones did not evacuate when a punt was abandoned near the goal line. There appeared to be no on field signal to inform Jones that the punt was abandoned. The block in the back on Dileo's punt return. Gedeon ran into the punter. We kicked off out of bounds. We don't use the spread punt.
Mack Brown fired his DC for not living up to expectations. When might you consider adjusting your staff? Do we have to lose before you would consider making an adjustment?
Do you realize that each of the mistakes you identified in your post were made by true freshmen?
You do realize this is Michigan. Expectations don't come from experience they come from the position.
The Special Teams coach is not a true freshman, neither are the plurality of players who did not live up to the expectations of the positions they played. I'm not faulting the players here though. We put our players in a position to fail on special teams and elsewhere 2 weeks in a row.
Egad EGD I'd expect more from someone who has so many MGoPoints but expectations don't come from experience at this institution.
Coaches have to say things like "the expectation is for the position" because they need to hold players to high standards and motivate them to play their best. But as a general rule, it's not realistic to expect a bunch of true freshmen to play error-free football. You can certainly hope for that, but then you are setting yourself up for disappointment more often than not.
I understand that you are frustrated with the team's performance, as we all are. But just because things have been going wrong for us doesn't mean that our coaches are incompetent or are tolerating mediocrity. Young teams are mistke-prone and inconsistent, and this team is no different just because our helmets got wings.
EGD - one more time - I'm not calling out the players or the true freshmen for that matter. I'm calling out the coaches. When will Hoke consider making changes in his staff? Neopotism has been a constant theme at Michigan and in CFB in general. Devin carrying the ball one handed - repeatedly back spinning - the special team misques - the OL passing guys off - it all ulitmately comes from the coaching staff.
There was no on field call to abandon the punt - Jones was on an island. The block in the back was a coaching point. Gedeon took the wrong angle - coaching point. Wile kicked it OOB - coaching point/strategy. Kerridge burned down field to cover a punt spectacularly that if held for a second more prior to punting would have been fair caught. You can't rely on superior talent to over come a failure in fundamental football or a strategy that is flawed.
Coaching is big time sport. Is it time to coach the coaches? To change the strategy and the coaching points. Hoke leads his staff not the AD. Is he going to make some changes over this Bye week? It's a legitimate question.
But honestly - yes I am frustrated. It is a young team. They will make mistakes. I will try to lighten up. I just don't want to lose to make a change that could be done now without going through that lesson.
Mack Brown fired his DC because he couldn't fire himself.
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
Was this the wrong week to stop sniffing glue?
Certainly the wrong week to quit amphetamines.
Are you over Macho Grande?
Have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
In the real world when shit goes wrong someone takes the fall. When will Borges and/or Funk get the pink slip?
you that on that last play Avery was beat by 5 yards and if the qb had thrown to his man they would've had a td to beat us...yet, you choose to keep him in there and move Countess?
don't understand that. At first I was like well I can't argue with Gmat. But now I be like "hmm?"
How about: "What adjustments did you make late in the game that enabled you to come back and win depsite having a rattled QB, an underperforming OL, and special teams problems?"
Or, "last week M got no pass rush whatsoever against Akron. This week the pass rush was much improved. What did you work on over the preceding week to make that happen? Follow-up: will a similar strategy enable the O-Line to improve?"
Or, "Gardner seemed visibly rattled after that first interception. How do you keep that from happening again as the season goes on?"
Why do they call it taking a dump when you're really leaving a dump?
1.) Is Graham Glasgow a double amputee? If not, how can you explain his getting beat like a drum so regularly that even I can identify it as it occurs?
2.) Has Devin talked to Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn about getting his sight fixed?
3.) Would anyone like to photoshop Wild Thing's glasses onto Devin so we can all smile at least once today?
4.) Have you learned that our zone stretch plays aren't so effective? Not zone blocking, the hideous zone stretches that didn't net positive yardage all night.
1. If one of our key goals this year was to reduce turnovers (especially at QB), what are we doing in practice to make this happen
2. Why does the other team's punt returner seem to get a 5-10 yard head start after the catch and our guy has to fair catch or catch it in traffic.
3. Are we coaching Gardner with anything other than the reverse spin move.
4. How long does it take a 4-5 star lineman to learn how to block.
1. Wheres the threat?
2. Can you put Baker College on the schedule next year?
I want to know about injuries. The offense, especially, seems dinged up. How are Toussaint, Lewan, and Gardner doing? Anybody else with injuries that we don't know about?
For the love of God, what is this coaching staff's problem with the spread punt? The evidence is on the field in front of them every single game.
...Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?
Here's a real one:
UConn's asst. coach (O-Coordinator?) stated earlier in the week he had a new bag of tricks so to speak and/or somewhat of a different gameplan for Michigan. Did you see that Saturday night after watching film last week? Did they surprise you and the coaching staff in any way(s) or did they come out with a gameplan/strategy more as you expected and prepared for?
