I have admired their stuff in the past, even as others preferred Nike. But my objection here is not the stripes but the nasty logo (smaller please) and retro numerals. From a design standpoint, clean tends to be good, busy bad, especially when you're viewing something at a distance.

But it's true--Denard lights that thing up, in a way that makes you forget the jersey.

Stripes for piping... good tradeoff, imo. I like the clean look, but honestly think they might be a bit too bland without something on the shoulders. A couple of stripes is fine instead of numbers or a block M, imo.

FYI I went to M Den tonight and they will not be exactly the same as the ones they have posted.  As you see in the picture of the jersey Denard is holding, there are no holes in the number.  This is the same as the one on the site for both M Den and Moe's.  However, the actual jerseys they will be shipping will NOT be solid numbers.  They will be the cheaper replica ones that have those small holes through the jersey as well as the numbers.  It's not as big of a deal on the blue ones but the white ones make it look really cheap in my opinion.  Just a heads up to those looking to buy them.  I would have been very disappointed had I not checked it out first.

No to the number font. The numbers will look like they were drawn on with a pencil from a distance. Its sad that we all have to try to find something we like or say, "it could be worse".Who designs them?
Underwhelmed again.

I'd be totally content to have these as our normal away jerseys. But I still hate that I have to fear what Dave Brandon is going to pull out of his butt before every big game

Does anyone know why some QBs in the NFL (ex. Brady and Manning) wear the old style loose sleeves while most college level QBs and newly drafted QBs wear the elastic sleeves?

Has anyone else noticed that or am I just insane?

If they have been wearing loose sleeves their entire career, there is little incentive to switch to something that could interfere with their throwing motion (even the smallest amount).

Newer players have been using the elastic their entire career, and are just fine with them.

You would never want to switch anything up, even a minor change can get a qb into overthinking their throwing motion and make a mistake.

I'm with you. The jerseys themselves don't look so bad - I just hope they last more than just the bowl game. Isn't that how the maize piping started, come to think of it? It was first for "just the Alamo Bowl" and then became the regular white jersey and then exploded at the start of...'08 or '09 was it?

If these jerseys had a three year run they'd be a significant improvement over what came before them.
