I still prefer the classic late 90s, early 2000s away jerseys with the block M on the shoulders. Classic. Wish we still had Nike, although I would not like to see the pro combats on Michigan players

I think the jerseys should use the same font as the numbers on the helmets.  Also, the numbers on the helmets should be the SAME color as the wings!  It drives me crazy when I watch the games in HD.

Probably has to do with the helmet numbers being a decal and the wings are painted. I disagree with you about the helmet number font though, I don't think it would look good on the jerseys. Too much like an NFL font. I'd like to see the bowl jerseys with the regular block number font.

No stripes, no piping, why is this so difficult?  The road jersey needs to be changed to Hanes undershirts with personalized marker on them.  This isn't necessarily a DB thing because our road jerseys have changed a lot over the years.  I just wish they would stay with the basics.

I like simple and clean so here is my suggestion. Solid white jersey, with maize numbers and a blue block M on the right side of the chest. Maybe blue lettering for names on the back or no names at all.

No stripes, no piping, no outlined numbers, nothing on the shoulders or sleeves.

I figure our home jerseys are simple and clean so why not our road jerseys?

Can anyone else picture it?

That sounds good to me as someone who likes basic or classic jerseys.  Except I don't really mind the outlined numbers, I think that's ok.  Good logic on the comparison between home and away jerseys.

Agreed.  I like the look, could even get used to seeing those on the road full-time.  Like others have said though, no white pants.

Something unrelated... anyone have a good suggestion for a flag for the house???  I bought the one from the link below, but it is terrible.  It came to the house, and the "M" is not Michigan maize.  It's more gold, like Missouri's color on the Navy--brutal in person.

We're in Houston, so I can't really see any in person.  I was hoping for some MGo help.  I'm trying to get one for our new house to fly on gameday!

I think most of the ANGAR (myself included) doesn't come from this jersey, but more from the lack of a consistent away uniform this year. And at no point was that worse than @Sparty with the bumblebees.

This uniform is classy, but I hope it gets promoted from "alternate" to "away" and is so successful that it obliterates all other white jerseys we've seen like a wolverine obliterates its prey.

I'm admittedly liking them more... the front is still too busy, but then again the bowl jerseys almost always seem to be too busy somewhere

Looks like Techfit which means the entire O and D lines will switch back to the 2010 jerseys with the piping on them at halftime.

Also, why 2 stripes?  That's so arbitrary.  Put the blue stripes all the way up the shoulders (like the UTL stripes were....  but not with maize in between them like the jerseys for the MSU game) and make the font of the numbers the same style it usually is, and those are pretty sweet jerseys.

The first thing I thought when I saw the UTL jerseys was "why on the classic homes?" They're good looking and could be iconic but our home jerseys are already great - and the home unifrom really hasn't changed since 1938. The roadies, on the other hand, have changed always, and had that terrible yellow piping the last few years. If they stuck with an-UTL style look, I think I'd be okay with it, if it was as you describe it.

Instead they went bumblebee against Sparty and then went "alternates" against Tech. If they pick a look stick with it. And the look you describe would be unique and I think still classy.

I think they're pretty sharp... I'd probably get one if there was a women's slimmer cut version in stores. Overall, the players seem amped about it, so I'm amped for them!

These should not be mentioned alongside those monstrocities (sp?) we wore in EL...To Mr. Brandon - Leave the home jersey alone and have fun with the away jersey, just don't get too carried away (see EL)
