Suckeye band
Did anyone see the BTN pregame show? They showed the O$U band signing, "we don't care about the whole state of Michigan, the whole state of Michigan..." What a bunch of tools. Perhaps they should have been more concerned about Navy. They are going to get thrashed next week by Petey's boys. Oh how I loathe them!

Because clearly, when you don't give a damn about something, you take the time to write a song about it.

That was GREAT. Good point, and my first laugh of the day. Thank you.

Just read the list and recognize my mistake! I am new and now I know. I was hoping to make it at least a week before my first point ding. D*MN!

i was shocked about this history of this song when i researched it a few years ago. It is kind of cool in a way because it shows our absolute mind-rape of their entire state. No, it's not a new song that the recent crop of shitkickers has thought up; it was actually created for a Broadway play.
The sentiment of the song reminds me of Spielman's bullshit pep rally line of how residents of Michigan are fans of UM, or MSU, or Western, LSSU, etc., but in Zero-HI-Zero everyone is a Buckeye. Yes, I think that is one of the factors that makes the State of Michigan superior--we are not automatons.

Please read this, particularly the very first item on the list.

We are discussing a post titled "Suckeye Band" regarding a song entitled "I Don't Give a Damn About the Whole State of Michigan". I wholeheartedly apologize to you and any other reader that I may have offended either in my choice of words or the passion which by which I express my displeasure for The Ohio State University in particular and State of Ohio in particular. Please, just send me the master list of all rules and regulations so that I might strive to follow whatever expectations each blogger has for this site.

The only blogger whose expectations you need to strive to follow on this site are Brian's (and to a similar extent, Tim, Paul and FormerlyAnonymous). And I already linked to the master list. Brian wrote it.
