Stupid Question about Dave Brandon

Submitted by IncrediblySTIFF on

Question:

What if Dave Brandon managed to land one of the Harbaughs at the end of the year?  Would you still want him fired?  Is this less likely to happen than us somehow winning out or only dropping one more game this season?

For the record, I don't think this happens, and I don't really care who the athletic director is because I have zero chance of ever influencing that decision.

Puppy? Kitten?

Really dissapointed in you guys- chimps are by far your closest DNA match and damn fun to be with. And all you can come up with are two species of carnivores that would shuck you down their throats in a Detroit minute if you were small enough.

No wonder the human race is so messed up- ya don't know who your friends really are,

about this entire thing affecting the basketball program.  I think it really could, and I think it could give Bielein and future coaches in basketball and football have some pause regarding the Michigan fan base.  That has been the most unfortunate thing.  There could have been appropriate outrage without this.  This has been bad for the entire athletic department, coaches and players alike.  When you have Mike Valienti stoking the flames of outrage you know you have been had.

Since he's highly successful on the court, Brandon is probably really nice to him.  Also, Beilein seems like someone who is very secure and not worried about his shithead boss looking over his shoulder.  Thank goodness.  And since Brandon didn't hire him, he probably would not be upset in the least if DB got canned.

mostly because I doubt the legion of students are gonna shuffle their feet and say "Oh, well... sorry about the rally we held to fire you, Mr. Brandon.  It's alright, we changed our minds, you can stay."

Based on today's posting efforts and yesterday's anemic output (only three) it would seem the "what if" questions are now taking hold and replacing last week's "Feelingsposts" as topic de jour.

What if Michigan won the rest of its games - would Hoke be retained?

What if Brandon lands Harbaugh - would you still want him fired?

What if Kate Upton and Scarlett Johansen called you during a critical work meeting and demanded you come to their aparment for a threeway -would you go? (ok I made that one up...but still...what if?)

But only because I'd love to see what happens when Brandon comes into Jim or John Harbaugh's film room to help them break down game film.  After that, of course, Brandon should be relegated to the ash heap.

Please make this happen.  Pleeeeaaaaasssee.

Everybody be sure to wish Andy Potts, former UM swimmer and now pro triathlete, good luck at this weekend's Ironman World Championships this Sunday in Hawaii.  Go Andy!  Go Blue!
