agreed. facebook jumped the shark when they opened up to everyone and not just college students. I get friend requests from "girls" with just one photo and 10 friends at least once a week now. Next thing you know fb will allow girls to put glitter on their profile...

That's my feeling too. Howeva, there's just no market in somebody creating a knockoff Facebook only open to college students/young alums. I feel as though Facebook is tremendously overvalued and is kind of screwed. Let's put it this way, Facebook has no steady revenue stream outside of ads telling me that I should quit the company I work for, Telling me I can get a free ipad because I'm 22, and telling me to become a SWAT officer and make less than I do now. If anybody finds something like that that is not called InCircle, please let the rest of the interwebs know.

There are ways to except out specific people on your friends list from seeing certain aspects of your Facebook, including photos. Everyone here is smart enough to figure it out, but to save you the effort, follow these steps: Account --> Privacy Settings --> Profile Information --> Click pull the down next to aspect you want to customize --> Customize --> "Hide This From" = self explanatory I was fine with co workers and adult family members but once my 12 and 14 year old nieces requested to be my friend, I needed to search out a way to block them from seeing some of my posts. Thankfully, there was a way to allow them to be a friend while not having to always worry about the appropriateness of what I was sharing.

Yeah the problem is though, that if people catch you having them on "limited" profile or something like that there can be social fallout. I'd rahter just delete certian things than have to explain to friends/family why some people can see things that others can't.

I have no Facebook, sadly though, I do have a Myspace account that my girlfriend/thing/Idontknowwhatsheis created. I don't even know what's on there.
