Stuff not worthy of its own thread

I've suggested this a few times and haven't got much response, so - I guess I'll try it. The neg-bangs or pos-bangs will tell me if it was a good idea or not. Some of the other forums I visit on a daily basis have a thread like this, it helps get rid of the 'my dog has a leaky ass' threads.

Whenever someone post something that gets discussion and/or debate going, the mods can start a new thread so we can talk about it there. But typically, these threads are just a bunch of rambling (which most of the OT threads here are) that get a few responses before the subject dies.

I’m not suggesting that we use this thread for good OT threads that get very interesting and get lots of replies, like the ‘movie line’ threads etc. Just for basic, off the wall random observations, bitching, non-bitching, or for thoughts that, well, aren’t worthy of their own thread.

I’ll start

So, one of my dogs is a complete idiot.

He's like an Exhibitionist with a complex.

He HAS to take a shit five feet from the road. At first, I thought this was cool, he's saying to all of the passer-bys 'Hey, look at me, I shit on you'.

But then I noticed, as he was taking that shit, cars would pass by, and he would look away in embarrassment, like, don't watch me shit.

So what the fuck? If he's embarrassed by taking a shit, why not go to the corner of the house where all of the cars can't see you instead of being right out there saying look at me? Confused dog, very confused.

stupid dogs ate my wifes engagement ring 2 years ago when they were puppies: $5,000 for the ring, $200 for the metal detector, and still haven't found that damn thing.

My wifes cat went through a period recently where it hated me. It showed me this hatred by taking a shit in my shower every morning before I got in there.

Sometimes I wonder if pets are really worth it.

for MSU - Michigan week I hijacked the city hall intercom and played Hail to the Victors for all to enjoy (I work with mostly MSU fans).

Thought I would try something different this year so I got here early this morning and took down the city seal flag and replaced it with a Michigan flag.

It's still there, 40 feet in the air, blowing in the wind, right next to Old Glory.  Hopefully it makes it through the weekend, but it's hard to miss.

Hopefully this thread doesn't get deleted, but this really wasn't worthy of its own thread and I didn't want to hijack another thread, but with a hundred or so MSU fans working here, I thought it was worthy of at least sharing.
