Since we generally write guys off after they decommitted from us (with a few exceptions with certain circumstances) it seems like we could apply the same logic to MSU.

This is a little bit of a different situation. He commited after one of his first visits and MSU's staff actually suggested that he take a little while to think about it because they didn't want it to be a rash decision. His dad also said the same thing so he decomitted like 12 hours after he committed. This isn't a Deweaver situation by any means.

Zettel was as big as a Michigan fan as they come growing up. He didn't commit early because of all the uncertainty about Rodriguez (in retrospect that was smart of him) and then dropped for PSU before Hoke was hired. I never thought it would be a big loss, but he has developed into a future first rounder there.
