StubHub ND/UM tix question

I doubt this year, being the last and at butt-hurt ND, will follow historical trends.

Win the game!

Another issue with stubhub for this game is that I don't believe there are any electronic tickets that you can download and print at home. I think they're all hard copy tickets that have to be shipped through UPS or something, so you won't actually be able to wait until the last minute.

That's exactly right...each ticket listed on SH has UPS right underneath it...wait and only pay more for your shipping, it appears.
We need to get ND some smartphones. Why do they do this? Security?

Can't the box office reprint the ticket for you there? I know UofM does this. I think it will cost you $5/$10 per ticket for this, but you could weigh that into your pricing decision.

Stub Hub does offer LMS (Last Minute Service) for the Notre Dame game. You just have to pick the tickets up at some place near the stadium.

Are you sure? I just called and they said they wouldn't have last minute service. I wouldn't be surprised if the rep I spoke to was just confused. Can you point to anything confirming last minute service? I'm trying to figure out whether to wait or pull the trigger today.

Yes. I had some tickets on SH and they sent me info on LMS. They sold last night. But I knew where to ship the tickets for LMS.

For some of the tickets, you can also pick up the tickets when you get to South Bend at one of Stub Hub's remote location which I believe is at a hotel a couple miles away from campus.

That is weird that they do not have any electronic tickets. Every ticket I have purchased from Stub-Hub has been electronic. That sucks for people who were planning on waiting until the last minute. I did this a few years ago when Indiana came to town and Forcier saved the day. I sat in the 3rd row on the 10 yard line and tickets were like $50.

BEAT ND

It's not stubhub, it's ND. There are no electronic tickets for any ND home games.
Your best bet for low prices is either to order by today (to avoid overnight shipping) or to go to South Bend and get one from a scalper after kickoff. However, I would not suggest the second option--the scalpers there are not the greatest and will still charge well above face value ($110) even after the game starts.

I just found out I'm going to be in Chicago this weekend and wanted to head down and get some last minute tickets.
Anyone want to split a pair so that I'm not the sole UM'er in a sea of domers?

Today is the last day I am giving him to buy my last tix. There is one catch and that we will probably be sitting in the ND faculty since that is how I got the tickets.

I have one ticket out of my four available. My group purchased them from the UM Club of Greater Detroit back in May, before we found out later that our fourth wouldn't be able to go.
This includes a bus round-trip from Dearborn, a game ticket, and a small bagged lunch on the trip back. Asking $150 for the whole thing.
