Sounds like he is looking pretty good so far!

Butler DB Channing Stribling, a  # Michigan commit, intercepts the first pass of the season.  # ButlerMallardCreek

Butler DB &  # Michigan commit Channing Stribling stuffs the WR screen at the line of scrimmage.  # ButlerMallardCreek

Butler ATH &  # Michigan commit Channing Stribling w/ an impressive sideline catch for 16 yds. Great body control/awareness to keep inbounds.

He knows we're on to him and he's (or is it she's?) running scared.

He's probably alrady deleted all those inflamatory posts as well, but good work anyway BiSB!

I'll know if he tries to post again cause I've got my Vigilant Pants* on.

*actually ass-less chaps.

Hopefully this will end the 'OMG WE'D HAVE ROOM FOR 4 STARZ IF WE DIDNT TAKE STRIBLING' comments...

The kid proved his worth in front of our coaches, and is now proving it on the field... Looks like the recruiting hype sites just whiffed on this one.

Great... I am now looking for the tweets for Scott Sypniewski on how he pancaked three lineman, made two tackles on special teams, forced a fumble, and scored a touchdown on the fumble recovery. Then we will FINALLY end the 'OMG WE'D HAVE ROOM FOR 4 STARZ IF WE DIDNT TAKE LONG SNAPPER' comments or the responding ones saying 'ALABAMA OFFERED A LONG SNAPPER' and all that jazz.

He was under the radar because he plays on a really good team (overshadowed by bigger name recruits) and is still relatively small (he is what - 150 lbs?).

However, it is a freaking joke when people get upset about taking a 2-star like Stribling.  The coaches watched him for several days!  They know what they are doing!  This kid can play!

I immediately knew there was something special aboutthis kid when I heard about how his offer and commitment went down. I live his length at the corner spot and depending on how he fills out he has the potential of helping us out in a variety of ways. I'm sure this is only the beginning

Not too surprise, given that the coaches shaw him in action for a couple days and the quality of the players that we are recruiting had to assume that he had some skills. Think that he will rise some in the rankings throughout his senior season and then become a quality player in the maize and blue.

knee jerk reactionaries are common on here and everywhere else on the intertubes. Many on here were besides themselves when Hoke was named coach. Brian lead the knee jerk reactionary army into a battle that didn't exist. It was the day I realized just how idiotic many Wolverine fans are. Brian stole the show.

I even penned a song that day called, "You're a F**king joke for dissing Hoke."

Just reread that post.  Ouch...bet Brian wishes he could rewrite that one.

This is a stupid hire. It will always be as stupid hire and David Brandon just led the worst coaching search in the history of Michigan football. He managed to chase off half of an already iffy recruiting class, hired a Plan C coach on January 11th, probably ensured the transfer of the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, and restricted his "national search" to people who'd spent at least five years in Ann Arbor

Have to admit I was still bummed about not getting Harbaugh at that time.

I do remember Brian foaming at the mouth when the Hoke thing went down. It's a good reminder that even our fearless leader has moments of . . . I probably should have not said that!!
