Straight from the old coaching staff!!!

Submitted by Hoek on

Let me first tell you, my brother in-law Allen is the son of a very important man at U of M. He has been close to all the coaches at Michigan since he was young (Bo,Gary,Lloyd,RR).

Well yesterday we had the family over and Allen walked through the door with ten bags of Michigan gear he got from some of the coaches. He told me he took what he wanted and I could have the rest, so like a kid at christmas I began going through all the bags and found almost all of the stuff is new. There is also alot of kids suff.

I also tried to find out what Allens dad knows, and how the coaching search was going, but he won't say a thing.

Specifically Santa Monica (the "Home of the Homeless") and for some reason the clothes they always give away to the homeless people happen to be Michigan t-shirts. My guess is that there are just soooo many made that the Salvation Army inevitably becomes its own version of the M-Den come Spring Cleaning. Anyways, when I first got into Michigan I had so much pride in the school that every time I would see a homeless person wearing a ratty Michigan t-shirt I'd yell "Go blue!" at them. I once even tried having a conversation with one of them about the recruitment of Ryan Mallet.

Anyways, now I'm starting to believe that the surplus of Michigan clothing is in fact due to the constant coaching turnover... Damn.

For what it's worth, I think this points to Gene Chizik being our next HC. This info is from a very important man at UM. He told me his sources have confirmed. This is not from DB, though so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Has released the following statement:

During the previous post, I noted that I would create a new Cool Story Bro thread. Some would suggest we should complete this post in a matter of hours, but this is a critical post for MGoBlog and it cannot and will not be made in haste.

Posters are an interesting, intense group, and although this posting process is time-consuming and somewhat demanding, it is an honor to represent MGoBlog and discuss our football program's needs and opportunities with a variety of impressive posters and/or people who can offer valuable advice and input. The process is proceeding with careful consideration as to the content, effectiveness, and pithiness that various posts would bring to our board.

I am sure all of the news reports are interesting for our post, but I am too busy to follow the majority of the news except to hear some pretty wild stories about "what I type." The last week should be a reminder to everyone not to believe everything you read or hear. Some of the so-called "news reports" over the past week have been simply ridiculous.

It is time for me to get on to the next thread. Go Blue!!

Hoek is just Hoke misspelled, Hoek is a village in Holland, also in Holland...Amsterdam, known for: grass. Who eats grass? Les Miles.

It's so obvious...

ps. Where can I subscribe to your newsletter?

RR or GERG?

RR looked he did all of his sweating on his forehead so maybe GERG was a pit sweat guy or maybe his hair just wicked it away. Like under armour wick away hair.

However, I must say that RR and his staff exhibited heinous fashion sense during their time here.  Logos, pinstripes, faux epaulettes, neon hues, short-sleeved outerwear over long-sleeved shirts, cold weather knit hats in September and clashing wristbands -- all very very wrong and contra-Michigan.  The next regime needs only khaki, blue and "M" or "Michigan."  Per chance did you find some articles in leopardskin pattern and long, stray bleached hairs?  Curious.
