I would be absolutely amazed if it's Green. He's out of region, grew up liking Eddid George and OSU a lot, and has a good friend that plays for the buckeyes. If the staff pulls that off, it would be one of the biggest recruiting feats that I've witnessed.
Yeah, because none of our other commits grew up liking OSU or have friends/family that play or have played for OSU.
Green would be a bit different, though. He's a national top recruit and almost everyone thought that we had no shot at him less than a week ago. OSU led for him early. Just saying, that would be a huge recruitment victory/statement. There have been other major wins in recruiting against OSU recently, this one would probably be the most significant if it were to happen.

I would guess Anzalone or Green but all the recruiting gurus have said we arent interested in Anzalone so IMO it points to Green. I dont think ohio really thinks they have a good shot at Treadwell and most of their rational fans have conceded they aren't going to get him.
On a side note, who is Sarah Hughes and why is her opinion relevant?She doesn't work for any recruiting publication. Not being a dick, I just want to know if she's worth following on twitter for recruiting info and if she's a legit insider.
She does some stuff for Hoke's Mad Magicians, another M recruiting blog. Some of the recruits do talk to her, and there is no reason to think she might not have heard something. Several recruits have said that they liked talking to her. She seems to respect their wishes and all of that, so she might have gotten some inside info that she has to sit on for a day or so until the announcement is made.

It's my understanding the staff is done at LBer. The only reason they'd take one is if he's an "Elite" play maker, like Levenberry. Anzalone, while a very capable prospect, is not elite.
Thus, I would not bet on him. I'll bet Micky D's $1 Cheeseburger on it that it's not him.
Can one of the recruiting gurus chime in on this Anzalone speculation. Every major recruiting site has Anzalone ranked higher than Levenberry (except Rivals which has them even), yet I keep reading people on this board talk about how Levenberry is "elite" and Anzalone is ok.
Would we not consider Anzalone if he wanted to come now that Levenberry has gone elsewhere?
It's more that the Michigan coaches considered Levenberry elite and not Anzalone.
I wasn't ripping her by any means. I just hadn't heard of her and I try to follow recruiting pretty closely. Just asking to see if she is legit.
I'm not one of those people that thinks that he hates Michigan or is bad at what he does. I just can't stand how much he loves himself. Ace pointed out after the Levenberry decision that he practically tore a rotater cuff patting himself on the back.

People are getting excited because...people are saying that the next commit will make OSU fans mad. Poggi isnt really getting recruited hard by OSU.
Reasons Green is a real possibility
Shane Morris, Hurst, and Green talked about how they had a "conference call" a couple weeks ago so Hurst would have inside info on that.
Jordan Wilkins visits next Saturday and its made known they are battling for the last RB spot first come first serve.
Green has said he will be making it back to campus at least twice so with Wilkins coming next week he may just say he cant take the chance of waiting.
Green was considered an OSU lean growing up loving Eddie George and having friends play at OSU
and as stated Poggi has not been connected to OSU lately.
I can cleverly deduce from your post that Derrick Green has already visited M. Do you know anything about how that went or how many times he has been here? Could his prior visitation have been enough to win him over?
