Well...he sure narrowed it down for us.
Thanks, Mike.

But a great, informative thread title too

24/7 is reporting that Dunn will be in Columbus this weekend.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:14 PM ^
he might visit there this weekend. Come visit the good guys!
December 6th, 2011 at 8:20 PM ^
why are people jumping the gun on brionte's commitment? It's been very obvious he wants to goto Ohio all year and several things need to happen for us to get him up to AA. Lets not start saying he's coming to Michigan until we hear otherwise
December 6th, 2011 at 10:34 PM ^
I definitely agree. It cannot be a good sign that he keeps saying "I am committed to Ohio State" over and over. Obviously, it makes us hopeful that our coaching staff is still gunning for the kid, he still has been visiting AA, and he probably would not work in Urban's system. However, the guy still refuses to even say that he is a soft verbal. I am just trying to be realistic on this one.
December 7th, 2011 at 10:36 AM ^
I'm sorry did you say something? I'm having trouble reading right now with my eyes glued to your avatar.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:21 PM ^
Somebody should start tracking flights out of Baltimore or Dulles....BWI or IAD to DTW is preferred obviously.

I think he's reopening his commitment. I saw an article about Urban Meyer taking over Ohio and whether it interested several prospects, their answer was yes. AR was one of them. I know Armani's teammate, Camren Williams, is still a solid Penn State commit. That might keep Armani in Happy Valley, though they weren't a package deal.

You have nothing to fear. He's been a long shot the whole time. It would be great to land someone with his talent, but I'd be surprised if it happens.
Stefon, just don't go to Ohio, or else you'll have to get shut down by Countess.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:28 PM ^
I'd like to think he's being so vague because he's worried about assassins laying in wait, should his plans become know.

Seems like something you'd call ahead about
December 6th, 2011 at 8:45 PM ^
Are you sure they weren't visiting Wes Brown? Seems odd. Where did you hear this?

They just offered one of teammates in the class of 2013.
December 6th, 2011 at 10:03 PM ^
I do NOT understand how Cal is generating this much interest in recruits. I've seen them play, and they are not good at the footballs. Really, they play like a team from a clown college...which is funny to think about, but still...
December 7th, 2011 at 12:07 PM ^
while on the field, they may be bad. they are getting a new stadium and new facilities. also, location is real nice.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:36 PM ^
I am stefonately diggsing the news about him possibly visiting Michigan this weekend.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:39 PM ^
Dunn will be in Columbus this weekend with Pittman and Diamond.

Wanna bet me if i'm wrong?
December 6th, 2011 at 9:53 PM ^
You, sir, are a negative Nancy.
December 6th, 2011 at 10:44 PM ^
Worse yet, he is from Ohio.
December 7th, 2011 at 9:33 AM ^
and that's how you play it? Nice.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:40 PM ^
Our rooting interest at this point, is that he ends up at Cal over Ohio. I would hate to play this kid for the next 4 years. My trouble with this however, is that he said he wants to go to a school that will make him a better man. I don't see how Auburn, or Ohio will make him a better man during his time in college.
December 6th, 2011 at 8:43 PM ^
Man, at some point I probably need to stop getting worked up over what a bunch of 17-year-olds say on twitter about where they'll play football. I mean, I'm a man and I'm 30!
December 6th, 2011 at 8:56 PM ^
I'm a man, I'm forty
/gundy
December 6th, 2011 at 9:13 PM ^
and I am 50 so get used to it for the next 10 or 20 years.

All you pretty women,
stand in line...
I'm a man. Spell m-a-n. Man.

i'm a horse!
December 6th, 2011 at 8:57 PM ^
but i can't help myself - i want him so bad. no homo.
December 6th, 2011 at 10:43 PM ^
I live out here in Cali and haven't heard anyone else drop the "no homo" line.... A bunch of high school kids we coached dropped that line on us 3 years ago and I still use it

He got really excited and so did wright when urban got hired. Apparently urban has good ties to the east coast. Is there any reason diggs has slowed down on the recruiting of diggs. For a week he was tweeting at him non stop. All of a sudden he seems to off just stop.
December 6th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
I'm in the camp that's not terrified of Urban Meyer. I think he tucked tail and run to make sure he went out on top. I DID think this would happen. He has multiple national championships, he can claim he went out on top...he was always going to attract talent like magnets. The only thing that's going to stop that is if he runs into protracted hard times on the field. So here's hoping.
December 6th, 2011 at 10:13 PM ^
Either. He was Mediocre without Tebow. Also, will he have success without burning the candle at both ends? He'll recruit but OSU being Soild is good for the rivalry.
December 6th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
Meyer is 56-16 (BG, Utah, and FLA) without Tebow, a winning percentage of .78. That's hardly mediocre. There's no reason to "fear" him, but If you think he's not one of the top 5 coaches in the country you're denying reality. He has excelled wherever he's been.
December 6th, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
Was the wrong word. Look, the guy can flat coach, but will he have success not coaching the way he did at Florida? He talks a lot of burn out and such. OSU is a VERY demanding fan base like fanatical. How long will he last?
December 6th, 2011 at 9:05 PM ^
he better get out to A2 fast. If he doesn't beat Chesson to the punch the ship will sail...
December 6th, 2011 at 9:12 PM ^
Kids of this caliber, with this mentality, think the ship waits for them, or, barring that, that it's the ship's loss. I tend not to take the highest-ranked kids seriously until they exhibit tangible interest in a place. Diggs has never actually demonstrated any real interest in visiting Michigan, so I hold no hope for him until such time as he's actually on campus.
December 7th, 2011 at 8:10 AM ^
Same here. I'll get excited about his recruitment if/when he shows some real interest.

December 6th, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
You're either with us, or against us.
If Brionte sticks with Ohio, good luck to him.
December 6th, 2011 at 9:55 PM ^
Woh there Athens. Calm down.
December 6th, 2011 at 9:18 PM ^
OSU has 4 WR commits so far. Granted, Diggs is better than all of them...
December 6th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
Watkins was in a similar situation when he committed to Clemson last year, and it didn't stop him. When you're as good as he's supposed to be, it's a problem for the other recruits, not for you. And with Posey gone, it's pretty much an open field...
