Lots of rain and lightning. Glad that is all. Can't sleep so I am watching Golden Girls.

Be safe back there.  Take cover and take the Bell's or Vernors (there is no more Stroh's) and Better Made with you.  Could be a long night.

Solar energy to reduce electricity bills substantially provides a method. Such as air, water, and coal and other energy sources should not rely too much on the natural energy of the sun as the source. Soon after there is no danger from these sources, and it's not fair, because dependent on sources of energy to meet the needs. Lack of Solar power adelaideur is generated from wind energy was always constant and sometimes it is not enough to solve.

Alarms went off at 1:30 so the wife herded the dog and I into the basement. Lots of rain really fast.

Power stayed on, basement windows leaked, but no trees down.

Rough commute this morning in Cleveland, since the storms didn't hit until about 4:30 am this morning. Part of I-90 is shut down because of flooding. Luckily I go east to west on my commute, so it wasn't terrible. Only ended up being about 15 minutes delayed. Eastbound traffic is a parking lot though. Anybody going downtown or further is looking at a multiple hour sit in traffic.

System-wide, we have about 35,000 out or so here in SE Michigan - sadly, I am among them at the moment. Many reports of flooding on area freeways here as well, and visual confirmation of some pretty good street flooding downriver in places as well.

We lost a few branches and as it was trash day on my street, you can only guess what my street looks like after some pretty nasty winds at 2 AM.

Massive lightning and thunder with heavy rain in the 4:30-6:30 timeframe.  The power was out for a minute or so at around 5:15 and the clock radio blinking woke me up.  I checked my wife's cell phone for the time and read 6:25am.  So I showered and then noticed the clock in the bathroom said 5:35.  I got up an hour early.  Of course our children (8 and 4) were awakened by the thunder at 5:45, so I wouldn't have been able to sleep to the 6:10am alarm anyway.  They're going to be a wreck today, to say nothing of me.

Had one of those "Dad Mode: ENGAGE" moments at 1:50am. I left my ringer on my phone due to the weather last night and it vibrated once for the Tornado Alert and I was up, dressed and waking up the wife within 30 seconds.

Woke up a confused four year old and got them to the designated tornado spot. Luckily there wasn't a tornado here (Southern Ann Arbor) but Manchester and maybe Saline are certainly close enough for me. Power blinked on and off but it's on as of now. Nice work, DTE. Thanks Lorne

In Wayne County we had heavy rain from 1:30 to 3:00 a.m. Endless lightning like someone was flicking a light switch for an hour and a half but very little thunder. Actually not as bad as I thought it would be.
