That statment from medical personnel is still outstanding

i think we need a statement regarding that statement.  i'm sure Brandon's athletic department is up to the task.

This fan base, specifically mgoblog, has lost its mind. You don't get the blood from the coach so you now turn your wrath to the athletic trainers and physicians? Its bad enough to read posts about boycotting games, wearing red and ripping tickets in half. What's next? Are you sure Shane's helmet was fit properly? Should we go after the equipment managers too?

Uh...what?

Hoke was asked 8.5 hours ago from when I write this about the whole head/concussion/whatever thing and gave no answer other then we'd get a statement from the medical staff...That statement still hasn't come out.

It's a simple issue...Was a concussion assessment done? What is the protocol at UM for concussion assessment? Is there any pertinent relevant info they want to share (doesn't even need to be Shane-specific).

Not sure exactly why that isn't available at the press conference (or now), 2 days after the incident. Really shouldn't be difficult.

Everyone knows that no concussion testing was done before DG's hemet came off.  They are desperately searching for an explanation that limits the liability of those involved.  Once they decide on a course of action the report will come out.

Per John Bacon

@Johnubacon: Now I'm told UM's report on Shane Morris might wait until tomorrow morning. Or afternoon. Please, get your rest. "Tomorrow's another day."
