This is a very entertaining game, Pitt and Cbus isn't too shabby either. What a great start to the playoffs!
I'm more of a fan of the 1-0, 2-1 games. But I know of many fans who enjoy the high scoring affairs.
Goaltending duels are excellent as well. The best kind of hockey though is overtime playoff hockey. I am so happy we are about to see some.
Eh, OT playoff games are fantastic, but only when the Red Wings are NOT in one. There is nothing more gripping then OT playoff games, especially game 7s. The OT games on the west coast when Detroit was in the western conference were awful, which is why I always recorded those games and watched the next day. The games didn't even start until 10:30 and sometimes end at 2something in the morning. That doesn't go well when I have to work the next day. As much as I enjoyed the western conference, it's better for Detroit to be in the east.

Man I hate these black and gold wearing assholes. I guess I could not expect Cbus to march in there and win game one. Still though...a 3-1 lead completely blown. Nice choke job, Cbus.

I think Detroit can beat either team, but either way, it would be a tough series.
Let's not get crazy though, as they need to beat the number one seed first, which will be extremely difficult.

I really really dislike anything east of Tornonto in Canada. I love the passion that the hockey fans there have but I really really don't like that area.

I'd say Anaheim is the team to be in the west, but Boudreau has a track record of falling apart by the second round.
