Stale no more
Given that Jim Harbaugh is the closest thing to a modern Bo, and perhaps closest in kind to the old school Michigan offense that I and many faithful yearn the return to, take note that Stanford is now averaging 40.0 pts/game, which is now MORE than our new era spread, of 36.6 pts/game.
Perhaps the numbers are skewed because Stanford's defense has been far superior and gives more time for the offense on the field. Or, that our defense has been so bad that opponents have scored so quickly and given our spread offense extra time and opportunities. Or vice versa, I do not know.
Either way, somebody please chime in here and try to give the implications of both defenses and how it affects the numbers above.

I do love it when people start with like 150 MgoPoints and then end up doing a complete switcharoo in 1 thread and end up with -150.

Is that the No. 1 through No. 5 teams in the nation run a spread offense.
... Clearly there is no success to be had with this "gimmick" offense.

1. Oregon: ranked 15th in total defense and 11th in scoring defense
2. Auburn: ranked 50th in total defense and 60th in scoring defense
3. TCU: ranked 1st in total defense and 1st in scoring defense
4. Boise St: ranked 2nd in total defense and 2nd in scoring defense
5. LSU: ranked 5th in total defense and 8th in scoring defense
While all these teams run spread offenses, 4 of the 5 have great defenses and Auburn is still ranked well ahead of UM's defense.

That sounds kinda odd. Curry and Apple juice just doesn't sound like it goes together to me.

I'm guessing he's gone and created a new Gmail name and new Mgouser account because he ruined his last one with stupidity.
