Is the stadium open?
Are the stadium gates open? I have a future brother in-law in town with his father. I would like to swing by the stadium tomorrow with them, if we can get in. I live about 25 minutes out of A2. We are kind of crunched for time to do "man stuff", as our ladies have the weekend planned out. I know they want to head downtown to Detroit, but a detour is totaly feasible if the gates are open. I may swing them by Ashley's even if the gates aren't open.
i srsly doubt it since construction is still on going.
No. The construction company still keeps a guard at the North entrance, and until construction is completely done, don't expect things to change.
I'm pretty sure it will be open again after this season.
I say take a drive by anyway on your way to Ashley's. It looks amazing from the street.
I used to run steps there during the summer before the renovations began, but now with the enclosed suites and all of the expensive stuff inside (from the standpoint of repairing vandalism), I'm afraid they might jusitfy keeping it closed permanently to prevent knuckleheads from doing something stupid.
I'm sure they'll be able to lock up the suite and club areas seperately. I still think it's gonna be open.

You never know at the North entrance. I walked in last year before the season. Just make sure the construction crews aren't around. If they are, you're SOL until the season starts.
