Multiple duplicate posts on this board is a downer!

Really most users of this board apologize when posting a double let alone 8!.  It just screws up the thread and it really is not very clever.  Do you then go back and up vote your self also?

I think unfortunately we "miss" on Marshall and Weber and I wouldn't be surprised if we miss on Clark also. think people were expecting a little too much in a months time.

just not enough time, IMO. Clark is a bit of a surprise but not too much. Before his visit I stated that if he took his UCLA visit that I'd where he'd likely end up. I now really think that but genuinely thought the staff & it's love of his exact skill set would bring him back in the fold on his visit. It didn't (AFAWK). I also thought that if Weber was coming back that he'd have done it fairly soon after contact by the staff. osu winning the title in decisive fashion (IMO) didn't help anything (see top '16 HB pledging during the game) and I think he stays there. Wouldn't be shocked if Meyer pulls a Brionte Dunn on him or Weber just realizes he wants to go to osu if he hasn't already. I'll repeat that I think we get to around 15 kids but I don't think any are big name types. I think we finish with your 3* types who don't find much decision between a mid-major type program and a Harbaugh led Michigan. I think we flip more kids than find still undecided as of this moment. Still, I think we crush it next year regardless of record.

I don't know, I've just had a good feeling about Iman throughout the past few weeks. He seems to have really taken to Harbaugh and the tradition at Michigan. I guess we'll have to wait and see on NSD.

had me wondering, as I sip my first coffee of the new day, why you were posting a thread about nuns and didn't label it "Way OT".

Especially since two of the nuns that taught at schools I attended were Sr. Marsha and Sr. Marcia.  Back in the days when most of the teachers at Catholic schools were nuns, that is.

I'm hoping we can still land Marshall because the way Webb was talking yesterday he basically said Clark was already telling people he's pretty sure he'll end up at UCLA. One 5 star in this class would still be huge and I expect Harbaugh to land a couple in next years class.

just said to not hold our breaths for Marshall. i think we just have to be satisfied with what we pull this year and focus on what this staff can do in 2016.

but don't expect him to flip to Michigan. Everybody can draw their own conclusion from that, but I've been listening to Sam long enough to conclude that's his code for "he's not coming here."

He also said that unless Weber and his family have a face-to-face meeting with Harbaugh—whether it's an "official" or not—he's going to stay with OSU. He sounded decidely less optimistic than he's been previously about Weber flipping.

Hi Don- To be clear, I don't think Weber or Clark are coming.

This is just a hunch but I've listened to Sams recruiting roundups for a long time as have you. When he gives an overall recruiting update or is asked about a certain position (CBs in this case) he recalls what he's most recently heard and works back from there.

Today, Marshall was an afterthought when talking about CBs. He almost failed to mention him at all. Some will take that as a sign he's not coming but I think it's more likely he hasn't been keeping a close eye on Marshall since he's a "pipedream" and USC lean supposedly.

Similar to Harbaugh's hiring, people are all making assumptions on what he will do based on hearsay because he's keeping quiet.

Harbaugh: wife won't move, wants SB ring.

Marshall: SoCal kid, Dad is huge USC fan.

I base my opinion on actions. I may be completely wrong but that's how I view this.

This is obviously a good sign, but I'm still skeptical he leaves the West Coast.  Still, nice to see that the thought isn't as crazy as it seemed a couple weeks ago.

Makes ya wonder what the hell is going on out at UCLA. Consistently 6-3 and losses against Stanford, either Arizona and always Oregon...they are a middle tier Pac 12 team. Now that USC is coming back with top 3 class and the Zonas recruiting well...makes ya wonder why both Clark n Marshall staying west.....hmmmmmm
