Medical Redshirts are exceptions, not expected. they circumvent natural parameters under the rules. UM will list and treat Gardner as a sophomore until the NCAA circumvents their own rule and intervenes due to the medical hardship.

Can we please stop with this? Roundtree drops the ball too much and doesn't make big plays downfield. Stonum had 600something yards and 4 TDs. Let me know when someone is around the 1000yd/10TD mark and then we can talk.

Yeah he drops too many balls because there was never a guy who wore #1 and dropped a lot of balls.
FWIW, I don't think he should get it, this year anyways, for the fact he doesn't compensate for his dropped balls like Braylon did with his remarkable catches.

Exactly. I guess the biggest thing is none of our receivers are dominant. A guy with the #1 jersey should be able to take a game over.

i predict that the #1 jersey won't be worn by anyone currently on the roster, so it'll be the soonest in 2012, but i say 2013, to a guy we sign in 2012.

2 would be my guess as a good betting number. This number would assume Wile wins the kicking job and maybe one of our DB's break into the nickel package/ special teams.
