Gotta love how JH is in the middle of every drill with every position.  Like the fact he's taking a true hands on approach... something we haven't seen in a long long time.

Is Green dinged?  I didnt see him in there but wasnt looking that closely for him.  Ty Issac will be the starter.  Wheatley seems very focused and like he will do a great job.  He really swelled up lately.

Interesting to see his size/shape given our collective surprise at his move to fullback. He looked slimmer than I expected.

Also, no disrespect to the man, but Ed Kengerski is a living, breathing Coen Bros Fargo character if I ever saw one.

Doug Karsch and former U-M captain and NFL veteran Jon Jansen will co-host the Michigan IMG Radio Network's pre-game "Tailgate Show" this fall. Karsch will continue his duties as the sideline announcer on football broadcasts and Jansen will provide halftime and postgame radio commentary in addition to their pre-game show duties.

More info in 2014 press release.  Plus he still has other regular gigs, mostly radio I believe.  (Wikipedia says he "was said to be" one of the finalists for the play-by-play spot that went to Dierdorff.  But who knows who said it.)

Karsch has become a joke ever since he was paired with Scott "The Whale" Anderson. That guy is the biggest MSU slappy I have ever heard on the radio. Also, I lost a lot of respect for Karsch during the RR era, especially after he started taking personal shots at him and his staff.

Things that jumped out at me from a 3 minute video and 5 seconds of any particular drill:

Peppers can bring it.  Even from a tiny snippet of a drill, he stands out.  Wow.

Green looks soft.  For a player his size, he doesn't bring much of a punch.  He doesn't run with any violence.

Yes, its way too early to make any judgments.  Just sharing an observation/opinion based on way too little evidence.  Spring game will be much more telling.  Hoping I'm wrong about Green.

Neg away.
