Spring Practice Starts February 24th

Michigan will start spring practice on Feb. 24
I'm excited to see how locked down the fort will be or if we'll get some good nuggets on competition (particularly at the QB spot). Also looking forward to the weigh-ins to see who has made some good offseason physical improvements. Finally, can't wait to hear what Jimmy's practices are like, these kids will be exhausted those first few days.

3 weeks away exactly.
This definitely isn't your grandfather's Michigan when it comes to spring practice.
Spring practices that ended with the spring game taking place in mid-May.

Wow this is close to starting. Seems like they'd want more time to condition in the winter and better weather to practice outside. Every practice will be in the Glick Fieldhouse for a month.

teach them the system and drive home some points. The team can lift but there isn't much else they can do until the know the plays. An early practice makes a lot of sense.

Talented recruits would be good but we've "won" in the off-season in years past with no on-field development or good football. Harbaugh and the rest of the coaching staff will be changing that this year. REcruits will come after they see the on-field product
2016 recruiting class will be top 5!

This actually isn't too far off from last year's schedule, I would imagine - practices started on February 25th last year, as I recall. That probably means - just projecting here - the first spring practice with full pads is sometime in mid-March as well, similar to last year. Could be wrong, of course, but it seems like the schedule - aside from the Spring Game perhaps - does not vary too much lately.

Has anyone hear ANYTHING about the team meeting when first meeting Harbaugh after he was named head coach? I recall seeing nothing on this site or elsewhere. I expect the Fort to be locked down tight and God help those who speak out of turn.
