Spring Game weather?

Submitted by MGoPork on

I have never been to a Spring Game but was planning on driving in from Cleveland this Saturday.  Unfortunately, the forecast currently looks terrible.  Was wondering how weather could potentially affect the plans for the day.  As long as there is no lightning, is everythign pretty much still a go?  If there is lightning, is the whole thing canceled?

Lightning, and it could be a short afternoon.

Better question might be, does Lacrosse play in the rain? Will the game after the game go on, if everything is safe?  That attendance might be hurt more by bad weather than anything.

There is no lightning in the forecast.  Just a 50% chance of showers, and you can keep an eye on the hour by hour weather on their website at weather.com.  Looks like there's a chance for a couple showers in the morning as of now, but it could clear up around 10.

I'm in the same boat as I'm driving up from SW Michigan for it, but if it's nasty then screw it.  I'll just watch on TV.  Which sucks.

The weather always seems to be nasty for the spring game... But it's fun anyway. Just dress appropriately, not like a sorostitute, and you'll be fine.
