Spring Game time set - 1pm
Michigan has announced the time for the Spring Game; it will be a 1pm affair. As well, the alumni flag football game will return for its second year, starting at 11am. Gates to the Big House will open at 10am.
Quick press release here.
Michigan Football's Twitter will have updates as the game draws nearer, as well as its Facebook.
7:30. 1:00 Spring Game. 7:30 still works. Go Blue!
Two things my dad told me about tailgating when growing up.
1. Its one of the few times it's not just respectable, but encouraged to drink before 10am
2. What happens at the tailgate stays at the tailgate AKA Your mother doesn't need to know.
Tailgaiting is the only time I ever break my cardinal rule of drinking which is to never drink before the first showcase on The Price Is Right.
Somewhere, the Ghost of Rod Roddy is giving you a thumbs up.
7:30 pm April 16th!
Hopped substances will be employed with copious quantities of red meat and junk food.
Cigars smoked and trash talked.
Damn it's good!
Might actually be able to make it to the game this year. Spring Break is lined up the two weeks prior to the game. What a month April will be.
hope your right about 2010.
You bet your sweet bippy I'm right. I'll take complete credit if 2010 works out. If it doesn't, not my problem.
Thank god some form of Michigan football is going to be played. Is it almost April 17th?
I'm keeping count on the white board outside my office door at work.
As long as nobody pulls a Zoltan touching the banner coming out I am also excited about the Spring Game. DONT TOUCH THE GUY IN THE RED JERSEY!
and you will burn in hell.
I dont know much about the spring game and im probably going to be attending this but do the players have meet and greet or autograph session?
after the scrimmage they have a signing session, Not positive tho.
Is time spent signing autographs a countable hour? The rules are vague. I really would like to see a picture in the Freep the day after the game with Tate and DRob signing autographs for sick, underprivileged orphans, with a caption below the picture reading something like "Family values continue to erode in Ann Arbor as RR forces players to remain for several hours after spring game."
Now the Freep will write another meaningless expose on nothing and attempt to convince the public that the sky is falling!
Damn you to hell, or Columbus, which ever is closest!!!!!!!
Everyone make sure they go! We wanna break OSU's record!
Okay.
Last year's was nice, but I would really like to see them play an actual game. Something like 1st O, 2nd D vs 1st D, 2nd O would be incredible.
Tate Forcier's most recent Facebook status update:
"Spring Ball one week away ya dig???"
Yes Tate, I certainly do dig. All this: "Fire everyone!" "Shut up!" "Chill Out!" "Fire no one!" talk on the boards is getting old. It's time for some actual substance.

Making my first trip to the spring game this year and am ecstatic over it to say the least. What should i expect on arrival in reference to costs of admission etc..., trying to figure out how to tailgate seeing i'm making a 11 hour drive and bringing my 15 y.o. and 12 y.o., while my buddy (Auburn fan, but supports my Wolverines will be taking his 9 y.o.) any recommendations from the veterans of the event? Also, good place to stay?
