So, Shane Morris at WR... will it stick?
Worked for Keith Nichol.

I was thinking about that too. And he's wearing number 7. So does that mean Morris will catch a last second hail Mary to beat Wisconsin?
Yeah to put us up 24 at half!!!
Morris has decent size, hands and above average athleticism but WR will be a crowded position group come August (not that we have a shortage of QBs either).
Why you gotta kill my boner man?
/s Morris with the new wig splittage= I don't give a FUK about being a QB
shane has decent hands for a 5*
/sssssssssss
I like it.
Wanted to see Denard & Devin work doing a similar thing, but one incomplete pass & I guess that wasn't something to try again.
I still struggle to understand how/why Hoke used those two. Sometimes I'm just confused, other times I want to pull my hair out in anger. Exasperating is a word that comes to mind...
Morris was the 2nd best qb today slightly behind Speight. If any qb had a chance at WR it would be O'Korn with his athleticism and 6'4 frame.

I'm sure most people see O'Korn as the heir apparent to Ruddock, but at least it looks like Speight is going to make him work for the job.
All of the QBS seemed to perform fairly well, albeit against a pretty vanilla version of our D. Was forced to listen to the UM audio stream of the game. Dan Dierdorf observed that none of the QBs who played made terrible mistakes, but he particularly gushed about Brandon Peters already looking like "the future of UM football." I'm sure Dylan McCaffrey will have something to say about that.
Yeah in the other thread people were dogging Shane for his INT but if you actually watch he was running to his opposite throwing side and threw a dime Thomas just made one hell of a play

And it was a meaningless arm punt INT. Great throw, but even better play by Thomas.
Shane looked better at WR than Wangler, who was no good.
on Clark early in the game.
Lol no.
Confirmed yesterday.
I missed Smith out there the first time. Looks like he's on the field but not getting touches.
Also I've been trying to focus on the LB's and McCray and Gedeon seem to be playing well together, blown trick play notwithstanding.
Good coverage by Keith Washington early on. I forgot about him.
BTW, Jon Jansen was pretty bad as the color guy. I don't know what happened to Marcus Ray, but he was much better.
What was approximate attendance ?
I'd guess about 50,000 at its peak, about 30,000 after half.
I don't think it dropped that much at halftime. In the fourth quarter, maybe.
Personally, I was stuck in traffic and didn't make it for the kickoff. As I made it in (midway through the first quarter), there were hundreds of others coming in with me. In hindsight maybe they should have pushed the kickoff to 7:00.
Then they would've heard more complaints about temperature.
It was a chill breeze
I was there and I would say at least 50k. Pic doesn't do it justice but lower bowl was about entirely full. Way more than all the naysayers like WD were crying about since the day and time was announced. I'm a fan of the Friday night game. Hope it sticks or at least the night portion that is. Was a great night of fun at the Big House.
Missed you on the live blog
Hey. We are undefeated when I miss liveblogs to be in attendance. You guys should be crowdfunding so I don't miss any games in person.
Also. Monkey Rodeo. Always.
Picturesnare deceiving because it looks filled but in reality, the density isn't nearly as packed as it would be for a real game.
Not as packed densely but packed enough that I would say 50k. No matter what the number was the stadium was filled nicely and looked full enough. A nice crowd for recruits to see. Also the intro of recruits at halftime was fun and the roar and ovation for Rashan Gary was great. Had to be a positive for the recruits in attendance.
Was the halftime intro of the new cruits new? Gary definitely got the biggest roar, but the crowd pretty much maintained a polite applause through the entire roll.
Harbaugh - or someone on his staff or in the AD - sure has a good sense of the importance of ceremony.
I love the idea.
The endzones were a bit sparse. The rest of the stadium was pretty well-filled aside from the uppermost rows.
Represent!
We were directly across from each other.
I was the guy in the Maize and Blue.
I eat the crow here. Crowd was amazing. 35,000 is a bullshit lowball estimate.
Near 50,000. That thing was filled to top rung of the East and West side sections.
please don't make a video of you eating a crow
At least he removed his hat at the dinner table
PETA has been informed.
Is that Kurt Angle?

Morris with some nice throws and a good scramble.
I can't believe they're out there able to play football.
Cold? It was 50°.

Swag.
I am enjoying seeing this decent font. One. Last. Time.
Anyone know if this has made it onto YouTube or anything yet. My cable provider doesn't carry BTN :(
Mgovideo should have something up in the next day or two.
