This has already been covered I'm sure, but has Brian said he'd do a UFR-type thing on the spring game? It'd be interesting, to say the least.

I dunno, I see it as live plays run under game-like conditions, with each player trying his hardest to be successful on each down.  Pretty close to a normal UFR.  Obviosuly caveats apply, especially for teamwork-centric position groups like the OL, but I think a UFR would be helpful in identifying the most likely starters.

meh

We'll know who the starters will likely be within the first or second week of summer practice. These spring practices are just there to keep guys conditioned during the long off season and the game is to be taken extremely lightly and not seriously.

I haven't watched every play, but there are holes to run, it's just that some improvisation is required

2nd quarter, 6:16 left -- Braden is playing LG and pulling to the right.  The right side is completely sealed to the inside by Kerridge and Butt, there's no defense outside at all. Braden recognizes the middle is clogged up and bounces outside and would have been free to block anybody on the outside, but Shallman follows the intent of the play (power) instead of following Braden and gets 2.

2nd quarter, 5:35 left -- Braden has Strobel on rollerskates way to the right.  Dawson is RG pulling to the left and was supposed to go behind Braden, but the Braden/Strobel angle causes him to go upfield of Braden and set him up perfectly to kill Bolden if Shallman cut back inside, but instead Shallman goes outside and gets tackled by Bolden while Dawson blocks air.

2nd quarter, 0.40 left -- Dawson pulling left, Kerridge lead blocker.  This play goes 100% according to design and Shallman gets 9 following Kerridge.
