Sportsnation Tradition Poll Final Reminder

Submitted by turtleboy on

The Sportsnation Tradition Poll Final on Facebook has been running for a few days but has gotten very little attention until recently. The Sportsnation Facebook page put it on the mainpage again and the MFFF (Michigan Football Facebook Fanpage) finally posted about it this afternoon but the vote tally is still only around 20,000. With the voting so low it's anybodies to win, though FSU currently leads 61% to 39%. I for one would hate to see FSU win another tradition poll Michigan clearly should win after the Best Helmet fiasco. VBOD!

I'm a Nole fan and graduate and created an account just to reply to you, not to do any trolling. We actually didn't steal it from the Braves. The Warchant was started at FSU during the 60's, but really took off after playing Auburn in 1984. The reason the Braves use it is because Deion Sanders brought it to Atlanta when he played baseball there. The Kansas City Chiefs also borrowed the chant from FSU. And as it was pointed out, the University has the full blessing of the Seminole Tribe of FL. It's one of the reasons the NCAA backed off and left FSU alone when they went after schools for using indian names/logos.

As for the poll, regardless of who wins, at least it will be an authentic vote and the results won't be marred by the rampant use of bots that caused it to be moved off the ESPN site in the first place.

Facebook sucks for these things. I just want to anonymously vote for Michigan, not join 15 groups, reconnect with someone I went to middle school with, and help someone grow their crops.

I voted for FSU, just ask yourselves: is Michigan even on the same tier as FSU? The obvious answer to that question is it's not even close. FSU is actually favored to win something in the near future and what is Michigan favored to do? Absolutely nothing.

We're favored to make degenerates like you sign up for an account on one of our team's blogs just to try and get a rise out of people. Must be rough to feel your program's power slipping through your fingers, reaching for hate to replace it.
What's next from you...I'll venture a guess:
-Angry wishes to the kids in our recruiting class
-Spewing garbage to attempt to tarnish the reputation of our fan base
-Pretending your school "never wanted" any of our recruits anyways, "bro"
-Satisfaction that people like me waste our time responding to you
I could go on and on, the bottom line is you're all the same. In the words of Darius Morris, GTFO my blog
