It is inevitable that a lot of people feel like you. This game doesn't rile up the rank and file Michigan fans like Ohio State.  We can try to latch onto things like Dantonio acting like a dink or their fans saying stupid things to fire us up.

In the end though they are the clumsy little brother. We'd be faking it trying to take it all too seriously. Especially with where the Michigan program is headed in the big picture.

Grew up in Ohio... went o ND... coached with the vest at tOsu... now runs the inmates at little brother's asylum... Are there any redeeming qualities to him other than that awesome jaw-line... awesome to punch maybe...

Most hateable resume out the for M fans.  Enjoy watching the holes open up for DRob from your perch high above the field this weekend.

I hate Sparty because, like OSU fans, they have a double standard... If history "doesn't count" then who gives a crap how many you've won against us concecutavely.

I hate Sparty because half my high school friends rooted for their basketball team, and assumed that because at that time UM was down (I graduated in 09') that Michigan had never been a good basketball program.

I hate Sparty because trying to use logic against them is futile, as they have none and will inevitably rebuttal with something about Appalachian State... seriously the way they brag about that game, you'd think they were the FCS team that beat us, not Appy St.

I didn't go to Michigan, so MSU fans are by far the most irritating to me. Obviously the Walmart Wolverine thing is used ad nauseum. The hypocrisy in this is just astounding. I was a fan of UofM since basically 2nd grade and it had nothing to do with how successful M was, but it was the mere fact I liked their colors better than State. That is what started my fanhood, lol. What's the equivalent to a Walmart Wolverine? A Save-a-Lot Spartan?

Honestly, if Michigan wasn't a public school, this wouldn't be such a big rivalry. I'm from out of state, and I couldn't give two shits about Sparty before I came here. I had to spend two years of my life in Ohio so that rivalry means a million times more to me. However, I live in a house full of Michiganders and they have had to deal with that noise coming from the northwest their entire lives. They really drive that hatred and I've felt that hatred as well.

So I hate Sparty because of my friends. This weekend,  it's going to be war. On and off the field.
