Temporary paint is one thing (like used car dealers use on windshields), anything else is vandalism, in my opinion.

Pranks like this are what college rivalries are all about. I am assuming that you still have the giant boulder on Hill and Washtenaw, which is painted by frats and rival schools, depending on what week it is.
I wish some engineering students would pull some pranks along the lines of some of Cal Tech or MIT's more elaborate ones.

Hell no! Sparty can bitch all they want. That's the whole point. No permanent damage done, but it gets under their skin like whoa.
Well OP and like minded brethren, I don't want to hear you complaining when Sparty students tag the block M, the Diag, the cube, etc. since you find it funny and justifiable because its "just college". And you know they will as payback.If they do, so what? The paint will come off.
