Source: Bryan Mone to be back in Three Weeks

Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

According to Isaiah Hole's source, Mone will be back in time for B1G play. Great news!

Source tells me Bryan Mone should be back in about three weeks.

Thats what Im talking about! Ill say this I think Colorado is a much better team than Penn St. Wish they were flip flopped. Although I think we will be just fine in both. Wisconsin will be tough as will Iowa and MSu. Basicaly we play the same team 3 times.

Colorado is a decent football team and probably better then Penn State. I see them play a lot and have some good connections to that team. They have been improving the last couple of years and have lost to some very good teams late in games. They will be a bowl team this year and if UM thinks this game is a cake walk they are in for a rude awaking.

We should definitely beat them, but this game will not be easy by any means.

Colorado State is real, real bad. Wouldn't glean too much from that performance even though it was a rivalry game. PSU is still going to be much more talented than Colorado just by virtue of recruiting.

Thanks for the expert Colorado state knowledge wtf...we've been to 4 straight Bowl games and had our coach get hired away to Florida. .oh and last year had a 3rd.round QB..more than um can say recently That being said we looked terrible and I am worried Bobo isn't cut out to be a HC possibly..last yr he had McIlwains players and Sr qb in Grayson We havent been beaten by CU like that since the McCartney days CU is a veteran team with a record breaking SR QB and decent interior lines...the game may be more of a challenge than I once thought

CU is a solid football team and I've been preaching that for a while now. People just look at some past years and think they suck, but they finally have a team lead by mostly Seniors and Juniors and actually have some talent on that team. They have lost heartbreak games the last couple of years to the likes of Oregon, UCLA and Utah, all games they probably should've won.

The Colorado game will be a good test for our team and people thinking it is going to be easy are going to be in for a surprise.

While I don't think we should be afraid, the trap college football fans fall into is thinking previous years results have much bearing on this season. They are a pretty veteran team with a lot of returning starters who might pose somewhat of a challenge. McIntyre's been their for 4 years so it may be a case of his players finally putting it all together at the right time.

If he's "available," I'm probably fine with not starting him until needed, perhaps even against Wisconsin. I would like to give him maximum opportunity to heal up.

As to the great Colorado debate above, CSU looked like they're hurting for D1 players. But Colorado had some close games against good teams last year and then added Jim Leavitt as DC in the offseason. They could potentially make a bowl this season. I can imagine Michigan having to work to beat them something like 31-14.
