Sorry...another Dorsey topic
My worries are...
1) Like it or not, Demar Dorsey has more downside than Betty White and/or maintaining the status quo re: logos. Might be harder to get the massive numbers they did.
2) I have little belief the Admissions Office knows what facebook is, let alone will listen to it. Betty White herself called it a "colossal waste of time" or some such.
3) It might be too late...
On the other hand, what have we got to lose? I'm in.
Unlike Betty White, OUA does not consider facebook a colossal waste of time.
But I'll bet we can help change their minds!
Your Facebook "description" states that Michigan Admissions is not letting Dorsey in because of media comments?
Please link your proof of that in this thread. Or, admit you have no idea why Dorsey might be denied enrollment and are making things up.
Funny, after I saw in print and heard on the radio the "rich Rodriguez" is lowering the standards of the University of Michigan I thought the same thing, If Marquise Slocum and his F*CK LION can get in.. then I want proof that the standards went down from there....
I sent letters and called in to inquire... I got zip in response. What they are doing seems to be working. So I guess as the old saying goes... if you can't beat them you might as well join them. Maybe at worst this will get someone to step up and give the real reason why they offered him a 'ship and then yanked it before his final grades were even back. Then you would seemingly be happy too.
If I were on facebook I would be in.

I changed it...though for the record it did say "likely because of...." It did not state directly "because of"...I felt it was safe just like saying OJ "alledgedly" murdered someone.
Well, to play it safe... Kind of disappointed we only have 48 people. Last time I started a group I had 500 by the end of a day.

I've been a Michigan my entire life, but my future as a Michigan fan hinges on what the University decides in this situation. I just can't root for a school that pulls the rug out from under a kid who only wants a second chance. RR should take a stand here and fight for this kid (maybe he already is behind the scenes, who knows)
